This is a very quirky property in a unique location. It has been very well renovated and it was great to see the renovation process in the photo book. The property has a very spacious open plan kitchen / diner / lounge. Three bedrooms are a real bonus. You do have to watch your head in the two upstairs rooms but we didn't find this a problem. We loved being able to sit out on the veranda. We thought the Nuki smart lock on the front door was brilliant! The house is very close to Gouda which has all the amenities you need. We caught the train from there to Rotterdam which takes about 20 mins. We also visited the gardens at Keukenhof which are approx 45 mins away. The Kinderdijk windmills (UNESCO world heritage site) are also well worth a visit. The only negative was the mosquitoes! Understandable given the waterside location but definitely take insect repellent!

I had an amazing stay at this modern and well-equipped house. It has everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen, making it a very comfortable place to stay. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the house is very clean. The neighborhood is lovely, and the location is great—easily accessible to both Rotterdam and Gouda by bus. The host was very responsive and always available in case of any issues. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Very pleasant weekend spent in this quiet accommodation in a very exotic environment 35 minutes from Rotterdam. The accommodation is very spacious, better than in the photos and has all the comforts you need. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials which is always appreciated. The garden is lovely too even though the weather was not very good. The hens, rooster and beautiful white peacocks extend the change of scenery. Everyone was delighted, we will come back without hesitation

If you want to find yourself in a calm countryside surrounded by green fields and wonderfull canals with many beautiful swans, this place is for you. It is a barnhouse with a very comfortable bed, completely equipped kitchen, a small garden with table and chairs and a canal view. The owner is very friendly, he gave us 2 bicycles for free, so we could ride around. There are some interessting routes, for example, to Gauda, where you can buy cheese and traditional stroopwaffles. We highly recommended this location.
