Farmstay vacation rentals in Kona

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home felt NICE, the details and decorations were so beautiful. The view, the outdoor shower, and the hot tub were truly highlights of the home. We also really enjoyed being close to Holualoa, such a cute town. Definitely would stay here again.

Wendy and David were absolutely lovely. The hale was gorgeous, perfectly integrated with nature. The lanai and bathroom are gems. We had the most delicious orange / tangerine of our lives right off the tree in the front yard.

Roy and Joy were very nice with great suggestions and shared delicious coffee, fruit, and vegetables from the spacious property. House has high and expansive view of the coast and ocean from main bedroom with balcony and living and dinning rooms. Large kitchen with extensive cookware and beautiful views of tropical florals. Road is bumpy but doable with 2-wheel drive and some clearance. Terrific choice for west side of Big Island and we definitely would come again!

My family had a great time at Kevin & Cindy’s. The unit was great and the location was perfect for accessing all of the Kona activities and restaurants. We used the pool every day and the whole experience was lovely. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. 5/5!

Tony was the most responsive host I’ve ever had. He went out of his way to make sure we felt right at home and gave us so many great recommendations. He allowed us to check out late since we had such a late flight off the island. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and gorgeous sunsets, this place is for you.

A week on the farmstead was a fantastic experience. Located in a more secluded area of the Big Island, it offered stunning views and a beautiful farm to roam around. The home was well stocked with essentials to make a week stay very comfortable. Steve was nothing but a fantastic host readily available with great knowledge on things to do and where to eat around the island. Highly recommended experience to groups and families looking for a relaxing getaway at self sustaining organic farm.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

Besides the very nice place that we stayed, our host Lorelle and her family went above and beyond by helping us retrieve our lost & found laptop. Thank you so much for making our stay the best one yet here at big island hawaii. Mahalo!!!

Charming, peaceful, and full of character, this farm stay in Kona was a perfect retreat. Our stay was fantastic! The place was super clean and beautifully maintained. From sunrise to sunset, you’re immersed in nature’s beauty, making every moment serene. The friendly dogs, cats, and goats added such a charming, playful vibe to the experience. The host was incredibly responsive and supportive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this gem for a peaceful, nature-filled getaway!

Our stay at the farm was wonderful - beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well appointed, and the screened in lanai was a fabulous place to gather, watch the sunset, and relax. Not a big deal , but the tv is in the bedroom, so watching a family movie is difficult. There was an ample supply of snorkeling gear, a cooler, and boogie boards, which we much appreciated. Rivah and Johan couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating. They’re great people, and they roast some delicious coffee beans. Thanks, Rivah and Johan, for sharing your paradise with us.

Jen was friendly and very helpful! The stay was amazing and so relaxing. The directions were very clear. Her cats were welcoming as well! Great experience overall and would definitely go back.

Sally's place did not disappoint--we so enjoyed being tucked away on the Big Island. There were plenty of nearby hikes and outdoor activities. It was also incredibly easy to just stay put and relax. We used the spot to get around to various locations on the island. We also had no issues driving back at night. Super great touches we appreciated, like having water shoes, snorkeling gear, and a cooler (all things we ended up using!). Appreciated the flexibility using the shared laundry machines. Sally also proactively offered a later check out on our last day since there was no on checking in. We hadn't planned on lingering, but ended up spending a little more time with our coffee next to the pond that morning!

It was a nice place. Pretty view! Cold in the mornings, we used the space heater. The neighbors were a little noisy, someones dogs were barky too. Prepare with a small cooler if doing day trips, for beach time, there isn't one to borrow.

This was our second stay at this farm, and it was just as perfect as our previous stay. The farm is gorgeous and peaceful, and the space is nice, clean, comfortable bed, with a private deck to enjoy the beautiful view. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful. Absolutely plan to stay here a third time on our next trip to be big island!

This cabin was a nice place to stay while we spent time in Kona. We appreciated that it felt isolated while still being close to everything we wanted to do. Shucheng was very helpful and answered all of our questions.

Kendall was a pleasure to work with. Space was fantastic. He even helped us out with our Turo rental and returned it to Kona for us. Extremely generous and we thank him dearly for that!!

This was easily one of the best AirBnB's we have ever stayed in. Everything you could possibly need was there. The coffee was great, the fruit upon arrival amazing and the space was just what we needed. Peaceful location, but close to everything we wanted to do. I would stay here again any time!!

Loved our stay on this avocado farm. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with a lot of natural sunlight. We enjoyed seeing so much life around us and having fresh avocados and eggs every morning. Kitchen is well equipped. The outdoor shower is a vibe and the whole property is very pretty. 10/10 would recommend.

The Airbnb was a great place to relax and get some peace and quiet for our vacation. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the local farmers’ markets and a short drive from many great restaurants. I appreciate the host’s clear instructions and images to ensure a smooth check in, check out, and stay. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

We wanted to stay somewhere away from the city and have more of a genuine Hawaiin experience and we couldn't have been happier with our time at Kat and Joe's. Their property is serene, the proximity to the beautiful beaches is perfect and they are kind, welcoming hosts. We hope to stay there again sometime soon!

we loved our stay, Matt and Rose's place was the perfect getaway for our 'Baby-moon'. the space is so peaceful and so much more beautiful than the pictures let on. we loved it here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. we would stay again in a heartbeat. thanks so much Matt and Rose!

A quiet, cool spot to get away from the crowds and beach area. We enjoyed the temp drop when you climb in elevation to the house. The area seemed very safe and I never worried about theft or trouble. Nice area with nice people around the house. You will be about 20 minutes from Costco and are at a central starting point to go north or south. We didn't spend a whole lot of time at the house other than to sleep and be out enjoying the Big Island.
