Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kolonaki, Athens

Fantastic Airbnb experience from start to finish, Kleio has excellent communication, super friendly and helpful, the apartment is beautiful, very thoughtfully designed and contains everything you could ever think of for a home from home. I would recommend to anyone and would certainly book again got our next trip to Athens.

Giannis was the best host! Friendly, communicative and helpful, he provided lots of information and tips about the area and Athens. His love for the city and his home was really apparent. The house is quiet, clean and full of art and nice touches, he is obviously creative and it was refreshing to stay in a place with real character! The best thing was the view from the terraces, with the acropolis and city laid before you. Watching the sunset and the lights come on at night was a highlight of our trip! We loved the village feel of the location, walkable to the centre or an inexpensive taxi ride home up the hill. Thank you Giannis, you’re great :)

Magda’s place was spotless, lovely location very local and lots of nice bars and shops. Around a 20 minute walk to most of the popular sites. We managed to lock ourselves out and magda and her sister were very responsive and within the hour were there to get us back in! Very kind and helpful with suggestions, lots of hills in the area so beware! Really lovely home otherwise we loved it here

This was a great stay for the price! A nice walk into the city center, (15 min) but the restaurants around the corner are way better than in the city center and better prices for the quality! Very local restaurants! I only wish the WiFi had been better, was very spotty

Thank you Ioannis, this was my first visit to Athens and I had everything I could wish for. A small flat which was a great place to be alone in, and a base for excursions. And it was cool in style and temperature!

The ceilings, natural light, beautiful craftsmanship of the wood, REAL ART! We have travelled extensively and enjoyed some beautiful Airbnb experiences. Christos space has moved to #1 on our list. My doctor, his parents were born in Greece, advised I should limit our time in Athens to 2 or 3 days. We are so glad we didn’t. Christos created a book, which I was hoping to buy but he gave us, that is BRILLIANT. The book is a pictorial and informational guide to Athens and Greece. Which he told me he could reproduce quite easily. If you stay at his space you will understand my surprise. Everything you need is a few minutes walk away. We came to Greece because of the history and the islands. We fell in love with Greece, the kindness of its people and generosity of spirit. Christos and his place may be the best of it.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet mit einer tollen Küche in der alles vorhanden war was man zum Kochen braucht und um sich morgens einen Kaffee zu machen. Die Dachterrasse ist zwar nur über einen Fahrstuhl zu erreichen, jedoch ist sie sehr privat und man hat eine extrem tolle Aussicht über Athen. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden immer wieder kommen! Als einzigen Hinweis: die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig in einem sehr sicheren Viertel von Athen, jedoch geht man zu Fuß wirklich sehr viele Treppen um zur Wohnung zu gelangen.

Cleo's apartment is very charming and located in a quiet area of Athens. The location is ideal if you're attending events on Lycabettus Hill (just a short walk away) and serves as a great starting point for exploring the city. The apartment may be small, but it has everything you need and the spacious rooftop terrace is truly stunning. Cleo was a lovely and helpful host, and thanks to her detailed information, we had no trouble finding our way around.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful stay in Kolonaki We had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful apartment in Kolonaki. Everything was just right — the apartment is spacious, very comfortable, and impeccably clean. The living area was perfect for relaxing after a day out, and we especially loved the lovely balcony with a great view of the quiet street below. The location isn’t right in the middle of the tourist areas, but that’s actually what we loved about it — Kolonaki is full of charm, with excellent restaurants, art galleries, and a relaxed atmosphere. It felt like staying in a real part of Athens. The small touches made a big difference too — the host had left us some thoughtful snacks in the kitchen, which we really appreciated. We were super happy with our stay and would gladly return. Highly recommended!

The flat is located in a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood that is interesting to walk around - great residential architecture, a lot of good restaurants and bars, galleries, artisanal workshops. The flat is clean and cozy, facing a green inner yard. The neighborhood is hilly and with quite a few stairs, around 30 mins walk to Plaka with all touristic sights, but still totally worth it, given the absence of noise at night and the beauty of the neighborhood. Konstantinos was very helpful and responsive and even reached out to inform me about the taxi drivers strike on the day we arrived to Athens. Totally recommend this flat. very nice appartment

Ο χώρος διαμονής εξαιρετικός, καθαρός και άνετος, όπως φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες. Δίπλα σε στάση μετρό (Μέγαρο Μουσικής), αλλά και σε στάση λεωφορείου για αεροδρόμιο, εφόσον χρειαστεί. Η επικοινωνία με την ιδιοκτήτρια επίσης πολύ καλή και άμεση. Γενικά μία πολύ θετική εμπειρία, το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα ως επιλογή για διαμονή ενός ή δύο ατόμων.

The apartment is located in a very peaceful, quiet, and safe area. Being a rooftop apartment, I was able to enjoy sitting outside (on both sides, for the sunrise and the sunset), reading, and drinking coffee in the morning and evening. Since you are halfway up Mount Likavettos, you have a view of the entire southeast part of Athens, while on the north side of your apartment you can watch the sun hit the church on top of Likavettos and feel the breeze come through the forest across the street (lots of nice paths to walk, and you can powerwalk around the mountain or walk up to the top for the greatest cardio workout). I really appreciated the little things like paper towels, soaps and shampoo, much toilet paper, and other items that few hosts provide, but Christos provided. (I even had a bag of ice in the freezer!) The shower is the largest I have experienced in Athens (and I used to live in Athens and visit the city 2 or 3 times a year), and the elevator and washer especially welcome.

The place was clean, location was perfect, checkin was easy and quick and the hosts were very helpful and nice!!

Die Wohnung und die Lage war für uns das absolute Highlight. Wohnung: sehr großzügig, hochwertig eingerichtet, schöne Bettwäsche und Handtücher, alles vorhanden, um sich direkt wohlzufühlen. Zum Empfang lagen bereits Milch, Butter etc. im Kühlschrank. Lage: zentral, sichere Gegend, zu Fuß tolle Restaurants und Cafés, Boutiquen zum schlendern, alle öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in der Nähe. Einziges Manko ist die Lautstärke. Die kleinen Straßen sind tatsächlich viel befahren und es klingt halt wie in einer Großstadt 😉 Ab dem 4. Tag hatten wir uns allerdings auch daran gewöhnt. Michalia eine tolle Gastgeberin, jederzeit erreichbar. Wir würden diese tolle Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Highly recommended! It is very convenient but also safe (this apartment has a security system), and the facilities are also very nice (like Simmons washing machine)

The place was a great. It was nice to be on a neighborhood a little away from the crowds. It was peaceful on the terrace. There were two really good restaurants within a block and half. Along with some bakeries, coffee shops and mini markets. Made it very convenient! Place was very clean and comfortable.

Prefect location. Walkable to all sights and attractions. Streets are busy but like any large city it is the best and easiest way to get around. The apartment was amazing. Balcony pictures on listing do not do any justice to standing outside or in jacuzzi. Tax and yannis were extremely Helpful assisting with rides to and from the port/airport as well as tons of local recommendations!

As a local boy originally, I'm very familiar with the location, so I knew it'd be exactly what I was after. The place itself was very large, super clean, and with all the great amenities and standard. We were able to leave out bags to pick up later too.

Vasileios was a wonderful host. He was an active communicator and met us for our check in. The apartment was so beautiful and equipped with everything we could have possibly needed! Highly recommend.
