Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Kolonaki, Athens

This was an excellent place to stay for a first trip to Athens! Cool neighborhood with bars and restaurants - but quiet enough to sleep. ~15 min walk to the metro that goes to the acropolis (though you could also walk there) or ~25 minute walk to the metro line that goes to the airport and the port to the ferry. All my messages to the host were responded to very quickly.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and very well-equipped. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed, and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made sure I had everything for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This apartment is exactly as pictured - beautiful, clean, modern, safe, and contains essential cookware. It’s located close to a delightful coffee/bakery shop and a lively and delicious little restaurant. A couple of notes - it was a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride to any historical site, the pool (in US standards, it’s a hot tub without heat) doesn’t receive sun so it’s freezing cold, it has Nespresso machine but beware that it takes the bigger pods/cups and not the smaller ones (none were provided and we purchased the wrong ones), common airbnb kitchen items were not included like salt and pepper or ice for example (we are staying in a villa in Crete that is business owned yet they provided everything), it isn’t located in the nicest neighborhood but we felt safe enough walking around together. All -in-all, it’s worth the price and we had a great time in Athens! Thank you!!

Hosts were responsive and had good clear communications. Apartment was very clean when we arrived. The space and furnishings was exactly as described and depicted in the pictures. Being close to the metro was a big plus and was walkable to the Monistaraki area.

The hostess is a super nice person who knows the area well & proactively suggests things that are currently happening in the city (e.g. concerts, etc.) The apartment is 4 subway stops away from the city center and is almost directly next to the subway station. There are some good restaurants nearby, which the hostess suggests. The suggestions were perfect for our 4-day stay! Especially because local was not tourist food. The terrace is clean and well-maintained, but the apartment is located on a main road and is therefore very noisy. But that's to be expected when you go on vacation in a big city. The apartment itself is well cut, equipped with 2 air conditioners and a good, though quite small, bathroom.

Everything is perfect..Nice house spotless quiet very..Mr. Thanos impeccable in everything and very helpful..I would definitely stay again.and parking for the car.

The room is exactly the same as in pictures. I like the rooftop view. The bunk bed is fun and big. The location is okay, within 5-10 mins driving distance to Acropolis.

I rented this Airbnb to shoot my short film, and it was an absolute pleasure! The host was incredibly supportive, polite, and responsive—making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Thank you!

Fotini’s place is in a great neighbourhood of Athens, in a nice building and is perfect for two people.

I stayed at Athena with my partner and wow it was so cute!! The perfect place to stay! The host was beyond helpful and helped us check in and was there to show us around the accommodation and check if there was anything missing that we may need. He gave some nice recommendations for local places as we hadn’t visited before. The place was spotless and clean and overall just a beautiful design inside! I loved the fact there was even a mini gym downstairs! The only downside to this great place was the fact there was a school opposite so there were multiple bells that rang throughout the day and the kids could be quite noisy. If you plan to be out exploring during the day this would not be an issue We throughly enjoyed this place and our stay and would definitely recommend : )

Excellent apartment in a very upscale neighborhood but still walkable to all the touristy spots. Athina was excellent, very responsive and was very accommodating when our flight got delayed by a few hours. The apartment itself is HUGE with amazing furnishings and every amenity that you would need. A Carrefour is right across from the main door which helped a lot in getting the basics. Getting to and from the airport was seamless via a cab, but the Metro stop (Syntagma) is about an 8-10 min walk, if needed. We had an amazing stay and would without a doubt stay here again. Highly recommend!

I had a truly lovely stay at Daphne’s home. The house is extremely comfortable—every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the furnishings reflect a refined, aesthetic sensibility. The bedroom was wonderfully quiet, and I slept very well. I especially enjoyed the little patio, full of plants and flowers—a perfect spot for a peaceful morning coffee. The location, in the Kypseli neighbourhood, was ideal. It’s a lively and characterful area with plenty of local shops, cafés, restaurants, and street artists. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Just across the road there’s a brilliant greengrocer selling fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and grains. There’s also a large, leafy park within easy walking distance—perfect for a morning run or a gentle stroll surrounded by greenery. The area is also well-connected. There’s a direct bus to Syntagma, the Acropolis, and other central sights. The metro is about a 20-minute walk away, and links you to the whole of Athens, including the airport.

A great appartment in a quiet neighborhood close to the center and the north of Athens. Super clean, the fridge was full and Vassiliki is an amazing host !

Everything was very good! The bed, the kitchen, the bathroom and the communication. Nice couch and atmosphere. We specifically loved the lighting of the rooms! The street to enter the apartment was a bit steep. Thanks!

Anna’s place was a delight, the terraces were wonderful for relaxing! There were turtles in the garden which were so fun to watch!

Very cool and very nice place

The home was very beautiful and clean just like in the photos. Its location is very convenient as it is located in a quiet area, very close to the electric. Mr. Dimitris was very kind and helpful throughout our stay, explained the amenities of the house in detail. I highly recommend him!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and my family and I had an incredible time staying over. We especially enjoyed how clean and nice the pool provided was. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Greece.

What can I say the apartment was lovely and George our host was amazing! Our first night we were sent dinner and some Beers! A lovely welcome. Given the time of year, George kindly dressed the apartment for the Christmas festivities, which was well received by the whole family. In terms of accessibility you can’t beat it. Five minutes to the metro station which is a super efficient way to travel around Athens. We would recommend staying here to anyone you won’t be disappointed! Thanks George and Happy New Year!!

The place was as in the photos without any unpleasant surprises. Also, the communication with Mrs. Gianna was excellent, making our stay pleasant!

I would have preferred to stay there longer! This stay and especially this Airbnb paid off every second! The hospitality of the people on site but also the entrepreneurial opportunities were more than special. I recommend renting a scooter or car and exploring the island! The capital Athens was also very easy and inexpensive to reach. A ferry ride on which you can simply enjoy the surroundings and a ride through the streets of Athens by bus and you are, for example, at the Acrapolis, Monastiraki. Would go back there next time and explore even more. Thanks for everything!!

Very quiet room, would stay here again

The apartment was close to the airport which was great for our early morning flight. The hosts were there to meet us and provide recommendations for dinner. We took the local bus to the beach in the afternoon and had excellent Souvlaki at the restaurant down the road from the apartment for dinner. Would recommend this apartment, if you need to be close to the airport to accommodate flight schedules.

The location is exceptional, the house was spotless, and the pool and view were absolutely dreamy! Antonis was always quick to respond and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. We truly hope to return someday,it was a wonderful experience!
