Detached country house in meadows and forests in an absolutely secluded location. Hiking/biking trails start right by the house. There is a great covered barbecue with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A ping-pong table, a foosball table and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out.

Half-timbered house

Our charming half-timbered house has two bedrooms, a small bathroom, a kitchen with sitting area and a living room. On the first floor there is a bedroom and the bathroom. Via the stairs in the hallway you reach the 2nd floor the living room with access to the kitchen. Another flight of stairs in the living room leads you to the open gallery as a second sleeping area. Please note that the cottage is not childproof due to the many stairs! Our basement has space for bicycles.

A freshly made 1.40 m wide bed and a fully equipped mini kitchen with dishes from our pottery and the 2022 renovated bathroom with towels, hair dryer and cosmetic mirror await you. The pet-free non-smoking apartment (26 m2) has: Wi-Fi, TV, books, games and information folder. Private parking. Supermarkets, restaurants, doctors, indoor pool, cafes and e-bike rental on site.

Our place is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

This beautiful cottage stands on the edge of a former small vacation area on a hill, which is surrounded on 3 sides by forest. The property with almost 1, 500 square meters is located on 2 sides directly on the forest and has a view over the entire valley and the surrounding area. Here you live pure nature. The house has been used as a private high-class vacation home only a few days a year since it was built. The furnishings are therefore in mint "original condition"

Alsfeld-Metzgergasse 6

We rent our entire half-timbered house with 4 bedrooms (3 bedrooms with 1 bed 140 × 200 and 1 sofa bed each, which can be folded out on the floor to a lying surface of 120 × 200 + 1 bedroom with 3 single beds 90 × 200, 1 of which is a loft bed), a dining-kitchen-living area and a bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. The house is in the middle of the old town of Alsfeld and yet quiet. Everything is within walking distance. Children are welcome. Dogs are welcome.

Vacation in the Knüll Nature Park for up to 30 guests

The vacation farm is rented as a group accommodation exclusively for a group of guests who belong together. For arrivals of more than 16 people, each additional guest costs €25 per night. (To be paid on site upon arrival) Family meetings, seminar groups, workshops, groups of friends and choir camps use the entire house and courtyard with outdoor seating and play barn. Small children can play safely in the fenced yard. Scooters, bicycles, etc. may be brought along.

Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a little time out or for longer - our apartment is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. The sofa bed in the living room is very comfortable, so you can sleep well in two rooms. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - surrounded by a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

Centrally located in the beautiful Edertal in the Kellerwald National Park. Only 5 minutes' drive from Lake Edersee and 10 minutes from Waldeck Castle, which offers a beautiful view over Lake Edersee as well as the national park. Here you can relax in peace, lie in the garden or take advantage of the many possibilities of the third largest reservoir in Germany. Stand-up paddle and bicycle can be rented on site at an extra cost and deposit.
