A fantastic self contained cottage in Knaresborough only 5 minutes walk to the train station and the river and 10 minutes to the market square where you will find a variety of shops and restaurants. Harrogate is 4 miles away and with great transport links you can easily spend the day in this beautiful spa town. There is secure parking at the property so if you are driving there is lots more that Yorkshire has to offer nearby and we will be more than happy to help you make the most of your visit!

The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

The ground floor accommodation is extremely stylishly appointed with a large, open-plan living/dining room which features Jacobean-style painted wall panelling as a stunning backdrop. Stone mullion windows, beamed ceilings, oak floors and doors lend a sense of rustic charm to the fabric of the building and yet there is every modern amenity. There is access to wooded and landscaped gardens with long-reaching views of the surrounding countryside and a private area to sit and enjoy the location.

Ideal for families and couples wanting to enjoy the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage dates back to 1799 and was the millers cottage to the adjoining property, an old corn Mill. An idyllic location with easy access to many local footpaths and trails. No pets.

The original Telephone Exchange is located in the picturesque village of Bishop Monkton. Now converted to a cosy holiday cottage situated between Harrogate and the cathedral city of Ripon. Nearby is Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley and Newby Hall. Blessed with open fields on 3 sides, which includes a lovely spot to sit outside and unwind or watch the sunsets. When you are ready, there is a wood burner inside. The inside is open plan and surprisingly spacious with a well equipped kitchen

Hope Cottage is in a peaceful village in the perfect location to visit the many attractions North Yorkshire has to offer . Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. The End Place is a self-contained cottage adjoining Moorhouse Cottage. Downstairs is open plan, comprising a fully equipped kitchen and a living area with wood burning stove. Upstairs opens out into a magical, fairy-lit, vaulted bedroom with a king size brass bed adorned with crisp linen and includes en suite with shower.
