We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at Sally’s house this week. The thoughtful details were greatly appreciated and we wanted for nothing. We hope to return again in the future.

Cornflower Cottage, in a pretty seaside village

We had a fab stay at Ruth and John's cottage. Perfect for our little family and very much appreciated the children's books and board games for the rainy days. Would highly recommend.

Blue Welly Farm's, Little Field Retreat.

EilishRating, 5 stars9 months ago
A lovely weekend stay in Elizabeth and David's little caravan. Although an older caravan it has been revamped and everything was in working order and in the evenings it was easy to get it super warm and cosy. We took a laptop with some downloaded movies on it to watch as that was our preference for the evening but the fire pit was great for smores and comfy chairs in the awning for sitting and reading. We visited Cromer which was a half hour drive away and a lovely beach as well as walking down to Bacton beach itself. We also had the company of some very interested and chatty sheep in the field by the caravan to keep us entertained. If you're outdoorsy and can do without certain luxuries it's a lovely little peaceful place to stay. I finally got caught up on some reading I hadn't had time for! Lots of thoughtful additions too like coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk in the fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. If you're wanting a weekend away on a budget this is the perfect place :)

No. 19, The Chalet

MarkRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
As my first Airbnb experience, this was absolutely perfect. Everything was exactly as described and beyond - the little chalet was comfortable and well appointed and there were even little travel bottles of toiletries covering anything I might have forgotten. The bed was clean and comfortable as was the rest of the place. The little Park it sits in is quiet and peaceful with very little movement from people during the day. In just 10 minutes, you can walk down to the beautiful Sandy beaches and have a drink and a bite to eat in one of the local pubs. It’s a short 15 minute drive to reach Cromer, but if you didn’t want to go that far, there is a small Tesco just a five minute walk away and the chalet has absolutely everything you would need to have a peaceful little break whilst never leaving the park. I’m really looking forward to being able to visit again.

Character 3 Bedroom Cottage near the coast

We had a special few days in North Norfolk and made some lovely family memories - including a day on the beach and a walk to Cromer, with a cosy fire at the end of the day. The walk across the fields back from the pub as the sunset was very pretty.

Edingthorpe Hall

This property provides an unique opportunity to experience living in a 17th manor house. It's a fascinating building with a large garden to the front and over looking mainly derelict farm buildings at the back. These are, due to their age, also a delight to look out upon from the upstairs at the back of the house. They really give you a feel for what it might have felt like as a busy pre WW1 farm. We loved the location; beautifully quiet with a lovely front garden area that was perfect for badminton and rounders with the children. The small yard out the back is secure for a dog prone to go wandering without supervision! Kitchen well stocked, comfy living areas and large comfy bedrooms with en suites. Clean and beautifully presented. Host was incredibly helpful - couldnt have asked for more. Thank you Cristina.

Peaceful, rural, mobile home retreat, two bedrooms

HarveyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Jane was a perfect host, very quick to respond, answered any queries and catered well to requests (I asked for a set of kitchen scales which was put in before I arrived!) The accommodation was lovely, clean, well equipped/furnished and the surroundings were picturesque and peaceful. Overall, was a wonderful stay, couldn’t have been happier! Would definitely recommend.
