Japanese-style bedroom: fixed mattress 160 x 200 cm on Tatami mats (without slatted base), which lie on a 35 cm raised platform. Small bathroom with toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and oven (without dishwasher, no microwave), living room with sofa, fast WiFi/WLAN, small TV, terrace with table and chairs. Under the roof, spacious, bright, quiet and independent space on the second floor of a house with character. Two large Velux windows offer stunning views of the Vosges. The rental includes the main room, an adjoining bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a small kitchen and a mezzanine with 2 mattresses placed on tatami mats. The restoration was carried out with eco-friendly materials... and with a lot of care and love! You have access to the garden at your leisure!

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

Our small house (built in 2012, awarded the Baden-Württemberg state prize for exemplary construction) is located in an old farmhouse garden in a quiet village. The furnishings are simple so that you can truly enjoy the beauty of the house and garden. We have therefore deliberately chosen not to include a television.
