The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. Mettlenhof, also known as Mettlen Farm, is a restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden-Württemberg. Built with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials, it provides a bright, welcoming space for up to 10 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of rolling hills, Icelandic horses, and Scottish Blackface sheep. Ideal for group getaways and retreats, it’s a perfect base for exploring the Black Forest and the nearby borders of Germany, Switzerland, and France.

Schwarzwaldhaus Schönbühl, in addition to its ideal location, with views over the climatic spa town of Todtmoos and the pilgrimage church, offers a unique feel-good atmosphere. Originally built as a sanatorium, it was run as a pension for decades. For almost 100 years, people have felt comfortable here, spent their holidays here and recovered. From the sunny southern slope of the Todtmooser Valley, it is a few steps to the town center with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants.

The Rehbachhaus is surrounded by the slopes of the Southern Black Forest Nature Park on the edge of a small village below the Feldberg. Stylishly renovated, it overlooks meadows and mountains. The resort for nature lovers is located in the middle of the Southern Black Forest Biosphere Reserve. Above the cloud sea of the Rhine plain stands our beautiful forest house. Start your hikes right outside the door on the Westweg, or mountain bike tour through the Black Forest. Take the S-Bahn (8 min by car) in 30min. To Basel, France is 45 minutes away, Freiburg an hour. Feldberg 45 minutes. Attention: Swimming pool Schweigmatt only for club members.

Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dyeing plant, a 19th-century factory, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and medical practices, guest rooms were built under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building structure a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building envelope and reuse renovated components in other contexts. New components were left in their natural state.

Our apartment "Salesia" is centrally located to the center of Todtmoos. The spa gardens, playground, mini golf and the pedestrian zone of Todtmoos are within walking distance. The vacation rental is located in a house with a total of 3 residential units and is on the first floor. From the living room you have direct access to the garden. Ideal starting point for hiking, skiing or sledding, Badeparadies Schwarzwald 40 minutes by car.

Favorite retreat:-) "Our Alpine view" in Todtmoos is a little gem for us - whether with children or alone, in spring, summer, autumn or winter, we always have a wonderful, relaxing time here. We want to share this and want our guests to do the same. ... at the moment we are looking forward to clear, sunny and warm autumn days - the best hiking weather!

Beautiful bright 2-room sous terrain apartment in a quiet area. 15-20 min walk to the train station. By car, it is about 15 minutes to Basel, 40 minutes to Freiburg. There is a small terrace in the garden for shared use. Coffee - Pad machine and coffee pods are available, washing machine on request for shared use.
