The place was great and we would stay here again! Fenced yard was great for our dog and covered parking was fantastic during a few storms. The house was as the pictures showed and had everything inside we needed.

This is an amazing place to stay in the redwoods, with walking trails right across the street & 3 huge redwoods right in the yard. Place was clean and had everything we needed! Fenced in backyard was a huge bonus for our pups.

Amber was very nice, responsive, accommodating to our needs. The house is beautiful and there were lots of thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfortable for us and we all had great sleep. The area is peaceful. Definitely recommend!

My family loved the Cozy Cottage, the beds were clean and warm. Fit my family of 6 no problem, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils for us to make breakfast and use the crockpot for a dinner. VERY beautiful surroundings and peaceful location. Would suggest to anyone looking to stay a while at grannys cozy cottage.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely incredible. The ocean views were breathtaking, every morning felt like a dream waking up to the sound of waves and that stunning scenery. We loved our stay, it's very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and perfect for visiting the Redwood Parks and beautiful beaches. But without a doubt, the art work at Zacks place was amazing! We hope we get the opportunity to return someday, and highly recommend it!

We had the best weekend ever at this place! The pool and river were incredible and the house was very comfortable. Tessa was so flexible with us when we needed to reschedule due to wildfire smoke. We will definitely be back again 😊.

We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful hideaway. It has a large fenced in backyard with a playset for our toddler that overlooks the pacific in the distance. The sounds of the ocean as well as the Smith River are tranquil. It’s a nice escape for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful place to stay! The amazing sandy beach is just 3min walk away, or the mouth of the river just 2min walk. And, the big backyard is just perfect for kids and pets! Of course the pool was a big hit with our kids! Great location to discover the beautiful nature around, while feeling like you are glamping at a great place. Really recommend!

GREAT house - very retro and unique. Location is incredible; we had so much fun spending time at the river. Pool is awesome. Kitchen has everything. I think we will come back!

The house is comfy and cozy and was well stocked, even for our big family of 8 and kitty and our long stay. The beds were super comfy and the yard was great with pool, lots of pool toys, and plenty of seating. Beautiful views of the mountain and nature everywhere. Great house, great hosts, we had a wonderful stay! :)

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The beach was really close and beautiful, and uncrowded . The house has been well maintained and has had loads of extra spaces added. We used their grill which worked great, enjoyed their fireplace and the kids loved the game room. Super convenient to use the garage door for loading and unloading. Lots of parking places and really reasonable pricing! Thanks for the great memories!

Wonderful place. Will definitely stay here again when I visit friends in Arcata. The opportunity for a fire in the fire pit outside was great. Did not use the hot tub but super cute porch. Loved the place. Aptly named as the Tiny Haven. So cute & comfy.

Sadhana's place was exactly like the photos. It was spotless and clean which is the most important thing when my gf and I travel. It was located close to town and in a peaceful neighborhood. She also has clear labels for all the amenities and instructions for every detail while you stay. She responded within an hours time when we had questions. Checking in and out was simple and painless. Lastly in her booklet of instructions she had and excellent list of recommended places to eat, drink, and spend time. I went to college in this town and I can say from experience that all her recommendations were 10/10 for anyone who wants to visit and doesn't know where to start. We would definitely stay again and recommend others do as well.

Perfect spot for meeting family in town! Lush, grassy backyard for the dogs to sniff and play. Great tools in the kitchen for making meals! High quality linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Shampoo and Conditioner smelled amazing! Overall, very private, quiet, comfortable and a perfect location.

Ric's Place served as the perfect base of operations for a visit to Arcata. The house is perfectly located, well-appointed and easy to manage. It has everything you need for a week-long stay. One of the best benefits is it's proximity to Wildberries, a grocery co-op that makes getting home food items a breeze. The house is also very close to "downtown" without being so close that traffic or noise is a problem. We enjoyed morning walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to main square for shopping, eating out and the weekend farmer's market. We have reason to be in Arcata again and do hope Ric's property is available when we go!

We had a wonderful stay! Home is exactly as advertised, exceptionally well stocked, clean and roomy. Great location for peaceful visit to northern Cali beaches, touring redwoods, etc. Sandy had super recommendations for kids and adults alike, and was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!

We loved our stay at the Bigfoot's Lair! Renee was a perfect host and the small space is so beautifully thought out, organized, and equipped. Spotless, yet so pet friendly!! With dog towels and scented pet wipes! The heated toilet seat is really a plus! Renee was so gracious and in tune with us and our needs. Not intrusive but always available and responsive. She gave us great advice for local eateries and events. The cute little deck was so peaceful and nice to sit out on after a long day hiking. The other thing is the perfect location. So easy to get to and centrally located so that it's a short couple of miles drive to get to either the beach, the Redwood forest, or the River! Idyllic, really. My person, my dog and I were all very comfortable in the Bigfoot's Lair and definitely plan to stay there again the next time we visit Crescent City.

This was a great overnight experience. I was in a bind and Marlen came through for me, bless her heart! Her cottage is adorable and inviting. It’s quiet, super clean, and I felt completely safe and welcomed from the moment I arrived. Parking is close to the front door and outside lights were on for my late arrival. Communication was smooth and kind throughout. It’s clear Marlen takes pride in maintaining a high-quality and welcoming space for guests! I slept great, felt totally at ease, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, longer if time allows. Thank you, Marlen! Highly recommend!
