Dear Johanna, We had a fantastic stay at your Airbnb accommodation in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski resort! The space was perfect for our family as there was plenty of space and separate spaces for each of us. Especially convenient were the two bathrooms, which allowed us to get on the slopes quickly in the morning without having to wait a long time together. So we were completely satisfied with our accommodation (as well as with the versatile spa/wellness facilities) and would definitely recommend it. I only had two nights at Gästehaus Lackner but I very much enjoyed staying there. The room was very spacious, clean and attractive, with an absolutely enormous bed (180cm wide!), and I liked sitting out on the wooden balcony as well. Unfortunately I never got to meet Bernd as he was away travelling somewhere, but his Mum (Antonia) was very friendly and welcoming, and we had fun communicating, despite not really being able to speak each other's language (I need to learn some German for future trips to Austria & Germany, as I discovered that not everyone speaks English there, especially older people). Oberau is a lovely place and has special memories for me as I first went there back in Jan. 1985, on a skiing trip with my school, when I was just 13½, so I really enjoyed revisiting the place for the first time in 38½ years.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy and quiet house! The location is perfect, with beautiful, friendly neighbors and a nearby hiking spot that's great for outdoor enthusiasts. The house is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is very well-equipped, making it easy to feel at home. Throughout my stay, Harald was incredibly responsive and always available whenever I had questions or needed help – truly a great host. The only downside I encountered was that, being on the ground floor; I could hear footsteps from the people upstairs more easily than expected. Nonetheless, this didn’t take away from the overall experience. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!
