At the foot of Mt. Mushikura, at an altitude of 800 m, there is a small village with a nostalgic landscape of rice terraces and old houses with tin roofs, and in this village is an old house called Amane. I heard that it was built in the late Edo period and that it was a temple school in the early Meiji period. I liked the presence of the house itself, the village, and the location, including the large black pillars, and moved there, and since then, I have been constantly renovating it myself. We use old materials to preserve the historical texture as much as possible. The floorboards are reused chestnut wood and rice shelf boards laid under the tatami mats. The paving stones from the garden are reused in the Goemon bath, and the storehouse door used at the Nagaya gate is reused in the entrance. In the summer, you can spend time in a cool old house without air conditioning. On the other hand, in winter, I think it feels very cold because of the drafts, but one of the things I would like you to experience is the ingenuity of living to stay a little warm, such as the self-built ondol (floor heating) and the Goemon bath. Kominka Amamane is an inn where you can experience living in a traditional house. Enjoy a rare moment of relaxation in a quiet mountain village away from the daily grind.

Limited group of stays for 2 to 6 guests is available for one group of stays per day.We are renovating an ancient private home that is 100 years old.There is an on-site Yumichi Morning cafe, and if you book by the day before, you can enjoy it for 1300 yen (including consumption tax).It is 1500 yen with drinks.It is closed during the winter months.The surrounding area is about a 10-minute drive to Mitsui's Faorest Tateshina Country and Tateshiko Tokyu Golf Course.The Fujimi Panorama Royal Twin Ski Area is about 20 minutes by car.It is also a great base for climbing at the foot of Yatsugatake.Seven Eleven Condin Laundry Restaurant is also a 1-minute walk away.JA Pier Midori supermarket is 2 min drive.There is a hot spring near Jomon's hot spring and salt pot hot water.It is refreshing because it is located at an altitude of 1000 meters.Please ask if you have any questions as you have a full-time host.You can also walk and walk to the bus stop.It is a 10-minute drive to Chino Station.Suwa Interchange is a 9.4km 15-minute drive away.It is very convenient, but it is pleasant to return to the countryside house.If you are more than 5 people, we will reduce the price.Please contact us. Stay with a dog at the "Protective Cat Cafe Honten", limited to one group per day, 1 night with cafe breakfast included

You can stay at a cat cafe for rescued cats. All spaces are rented out outside of cafe hours. The cat space is completely separated. Cats are not allowed in the cafe or accommodation space. You can interact with the cats in the cat courtyard. You can eat and drink while watching the cat courtyard from the cafe. You can see the night view of Nagano city from the cafe space. Dogs are also welcome. Please bring everything you need for your dog. However, pets are not allowed in the cat garden. You can come and go freely in the back space. Breakfast with cafe menu. The terrace will be removed in December as it is severely deteriorated. Cosplay photography and BBQ will no longer be available. Please understand. From the cafe, you can see the Zenko-ji Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its autumn leaves, is right in front. 1 hour by bus from Nagano Station. Take the bus bound for Hoshina Onsen. Get off at Kiyomizu-dera Daimon-mae bus stop and walk for 5 minutes. Please note that there are few buses. The road is steep and narrow near the inn. When coming by car, a 4WD vehicle or tire chains are required in winter. Amenities include additive-free and fragrance-free soap bars Late check-in is also possible.
