Wonderful place to stay and very kind host. We very much enjoyed our two-night stay and would love to come back in the future. Very spacious house with a great kitchen and other facilities. Also, we could enjoy some fresh herbs and fruits during our stay. Knowledge of the Japanese language is very helpful for communication.

SEIUNKAN 150yr-old Farmer's Guest SHOIN Tatami

Miyazaki san was super nice and the place is very good. Though the door can’t be locked it didn’t feel unsafe in Karuizawa area. Food was also great and the amount is enough. Highly recommend this place for foreign travellers.

15 guests/Private rental/parking 4 cars/sauna/BBQ

I used it as a base for a trip to meet a friend who lives in Ueda City.I stayed for 4 nights, but it was a spacious, clean and well-equipped facility, and I had a stress-free stay. Thanks to the large refrigerator, kitchen facilities, and washer and dryer, I was able to get through a long stay with good value! The problem was that the daytime temperature was high, so it was difficult to cool the entire floor with only the air conditioner in the back of the first floor at check-in.Also, the road to the facility is narrow, so if you make a mistake on the route to the entrance of the gate, you will have trouble parking. They responded quickly and politely to questions before and during my stay, and I was able to use it with peace of mind, even though I had children.Thank yal soo much!!
A modern bathroom features a large, oval mirror framed by soft lighting. Two square black sinks are positioned on a sleek countertop, accompanied by neatly arranged toiletries. The dark tones of the walls and fixtures create a sophisticated atmosphere, complemented by natural light from a nearby window.

It was a very nice place. The furnishings and interior of the building were also wonderful and well-equipped, and the friends who went with me were also very satisfied.
A compact restroom is highlighted by a modern toilet set against a wooden wall. Natural light filters in, accentuating the clean lines and minimalistic design. Necessary toiletries are neatly arranged on the side, providing a functional and tidy atmosphere.

We had a good time in a beautiful and nice space. I stayed at work remotely this time. I took a walk nearby before and after work, and it was a good change of scenery! There was also a kitchen, and there were dishes and condiments, which was very convenient.By the way, the sound of the speakers was also good!I'd love to stay again.

Straw Bale House, Earth Friendly

This is an adult amusement park, and the two of us adults were moved to tears by the lake. Yuu and Megumi have been running this bookstore, coffee, art exhibition space... for 30 years! All kinds of cabins, rammed earth houses, yurts, grass outdoor wood stoves, art installations, and small works left by artist friends from all over the world.I felt like my eyes and limbs couldn't explore everything, so I had to roll around in the grass. They used to have a donkey and two goats, and now they have two cats. They live a self-sufficient life from rice to vegetables. Breakfast and dinner were filled with all kinds of vegetables and small flowers planted by Megumi-san, even the potatoes were colorful ~ The food and the cook were full of energy. This is my hometown in Japan, and I hope to return here in the summer.
An outdoor area features a small building with a simple design, surrounded by native trees. A soaking tub made of metal is positioned nearby, set against a backdrop of natural earth and stone. A hanging chair adds a relaxed touch to the serene setting.
