Very nice cottage nestled on the side of the mountain, with a beautiful view and a peaceful environment. The cottage is very well-equipped and very well-decorated, cocooning atmosphere. You have to come by car to enjoy the surroundings, shops only a few kilometers away, good restaurants. Ski resorts 25/40 minutes away according to your wishes, but also confectionery of the Vosges, Christmas markets and the large city of Saint Dié des Vosges nearby. Beautiful walks possible. We were lucky to have snow throughout our stay, so a nice wonder to go from 2024 to 2025. And a big thank you to Odile and Claude for their warm hosting, availability and kindness. We can only recommend.

A great weekend in this beautiful cottage with all comforts, Jacuzzi, Hammam, Sauna ... A very attentive welcome and very good wine discussions with the hosts, as charming as their region! Recommended for discovering the vineyards of the area (and elsewhere) as well as for spending a relaxing time near Strasbourg :)

We had a wonderful weekend! The spacious property with a lake offers plenty of space and you are in the middle of nature. Unfortunately, the road is busy and a little disturbing. The house is rustic, has everything you need. We were able to relax well and would be happy to come back.

We had a nice stay with the family. The accommodation has a beautiful living room with garden and forest views. Everyone had their own space to sleep. We appreciated the proximity of walks from the house and also the lakes.

We've been very comfortable. Thérèse very detailed left us an oven bread because the next day the bakeries were closed. We enjoyed the dinners on the balcony watching the sunset, awesome

We were with 3 families in the house with Emeline and we enjoyed it very much!!! It was equipped with everything you need and the landlady was very friendly! :) Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend! we had a great stay in one of the tiny house (Le Hérisson). Super clean and cosy, we loved it here. The bes was super comfi, and the little house has all the essentials. The location is great, calm and quiet. Perfect to visit the area and all the beautiful villages around. We love it so much that we extended our stay. We had a lovely stay at this spacious, well-located, very quiet and well-equipped cottage. We had a very good contact with Valérie and Alain and we were hosted very well with small touches. Easy access to visit Alsace and the Vosges, we recommend this cottage. Thank you Francoise for hosting us.

If you are looking for a quiet place out in nature with enough space for several families, the cottage is perfect. Now that the hot-tube is installed - it’s even better. And Samuel kindly changed the water as the kids went in there with dirty feet. Inside the kids shouldn’t play too loudly, which sometimes isn’t easy - but there is lots of space outside!! We would book it again :)

We have now stayed in the "Branhiesel" for the second time and had a wonderful stay. Jean George and Anne Marie are perfect hosts, we had very lively conversations over an invitation for an aperitif and Jean George knows good recommendations for excursions. And in addition the loving furnishings of house and yard, homemade jam, etc. The surroundings offer opportunities for all weather, we recovered excellently! A clear recommendation, especially for those seeking peace and quiet with an interest in "country and people."
