Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Cozy 2-room apartment near Zurich

We rent a very nice, newly furnished and cozy 30 m² apartment with separate bedroom. In the open living room with kitchen and dining area, there is a large sofa bed. The apartment has a separate apartment entrance and is on the first floor (no steps). The free parking is right next to the apartment. The apartment is located in the middle of the village and is easy to find. Just three minutes to the bus stop, 40 minutes to Zurich. We, the host family, live on the upper floor.

Lichtensteig train station

A special place for holidays or weekends. A newly renovated apartment 35 square meters directly above the regionally and nationally known “Chössi” small theater. During the theater season (from September to June), there is usually a lively cultural operation with dance/theater/music or comedy on Saturdays. And this in the middle of beautiful Toggenburg, 100 meters from Lichtensteig train station. Starting point in summer and winter for Churfirsten, St. Gallen and Lake Zurich.

Vegetarian vacation home with charm

The vacation home is in a quiet location. On the ground floor there are spacious lounges with a terrace facing east. Please note that the house can only be used vegetarian. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms, whereby one bedroom is a passageway for the bedroom behind it. The wooden house is cozily furnished with wooden furniture and has everything you need for a nice stay. Games available for all ages.

From your vacation home you have a direct view of the Säntis. Nearby you will find picturesque hiking trails and small farms offering regional products. In winter, the landscape invites you on beautiful snowshoe hikes. This vacation home is the ideal retreat for families or friends who want to enjoy tranquility, nature and comfort in perfect harmony. Immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere and unwind.

Cozy studio on the first floor, in Appenzellerland

The cozily furnished studio (first floor) is located at 800 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area. From the sunny seating area you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpstein (Säntis). A grill bowl is available there. The bus or Appenzellerbahn train can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Within 10 km there are various leisure facilities (mini golf, swimming pools, hiking, skiing, biking).

The apartment is located in a two-family house near the village of Kirchberg in a quiet, rural area. Nearby are: forest, meadows, bakery & supermarket. The outdoor area may be used in consultation with the owners, as well as the barbecue area. Perfectly located for walks and tours in the Appenzellerland & Alpstein. We look forward to seeing you!

Ideal for excursions by public transport to the great hiking or skiing area of Toggenburg and to explore Eastern Switzerland. You can enjoy a rich cultural and gastronomic offer on site.

Luxurious and simple

In the listed house, which was the former bakery in the village, you feel really comfortable. Many rooms that have been lovingly renovated give you the feeling of simplicity and that is luxury. It can accommodate 6 to 8 guests. Heating is provided by a pellet stove and various infrared heaters. Two tiled stoves are also available.
