Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kingston

In the ten plus years that my husband and I have been using AirBnB we can both honestly say that Sami’s home ranks in the top for us in terms of (1) value (2) communication and (3) accommodations. The property is simply super nicely setup with multiple modern considerations. The house is very cozy and welcoming which made us feel right at home. However, the best part was the communication. Sami was up front and forward with communication. They were simple, and he provided us lists and resources for restaurants and things to do locally. Even more, he was super accommodating in terms of flexibility—by far the most helpful we have EVER seen. We give Sami the absolute highest rating that we possibly can. 11/10!

The house was clean. Comfortable beds. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Restaurants, grocery stores and a mall nearby.

This is by far the cutest airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at. So cute, and convenient to downtown kingston while still enjoying a private backyard. The propane fireplace in the backyard was awesome, and being able to relax at night was amazing. The decor is classy and so thoughtful. We had a beautiful welcome basket from Rick and Kayla. Truly a gem of a place - will definitely be back if we need a place to stay in Kingston.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was immaculately clean and had absolutely everything we could possibly need. From the little touches to the overall setup, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. The environment was incredibly quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming—they truly went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. Their lightning-fast responses made communication effortless and reassuring. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, completely hassle-free. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From it's enchanting exposed stone wall and rustic wood flooring to the spacious and well-maintained open concept apartment, including a comfortable king sized bed, this is a space that must be seen to appreciated. The kitchen comes well-appointed and the upscale bathroom finishes truly impress. Wonderfully hosted and operated, this is one that does not disappoint!

Quiet little place, quiet building, quiet little town. Short drive to Kingston for everything you need. Ample parking.

Mike & susan and the happiest golden retrievers Molly and Penny were the most perfect hosts. The Bark guesthouse was simply perfect, beautifully decorated, soo spacious, super clean and just wonderfully magical. From the beautiful wood finishes,to the comfy bed, to magical deck view (birds a chirping) to the steel roof that will lull you to sleep during a rainstorm. My gf and I enjoyed our time in as much as our time out. Mike and Susans property is a stone throw away from bike for rental, damn good gin and loads of amazing wine estates to enjoy. And if you want some beautiful wood accents in your home, Mike has honed his carpenters creative side with his own wood masterpieces in his shop. We are definitely coming back for another stay and a longer trip. We recommend this guesthouse to everyone who loves their privacy, a magical setting and comfy luxury.

We enjoyed our visit. The unit had everything we needed. Clean, lots of room. Central location to get to various areas or Kingston. Kitchen had amenities that enabled us cook for ourselves when needed during our stay.

This unit is in a great location. It’s walkable to all the restaurants and bars. Even so the you didn’t hear the noise from the bars late at night. Off street parking right in front of the unit is a plus! It is clean and well laid out. The pictures don’t do the size of it justice. It is so much bigger than it looks! The front porch was a nice area to be able to enjoy sights, as well the kitchen window looks right out to the river. As others have said the beds are quite firm. Overall we enjoyed our weekend stay!

I went to PEC with a girlfriend. The unit was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed linen was really nice :) It was a 5 minute walk to Main St which was perfect. We walked to dinner and entertainment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Picton !
