Monthly Rentals in Kilninian

My partner and I stayed on the island for 4 nights over Easter weekend, and were completely enchanted by Gometra and the bothy. It was easier than we expected to get there, with the helpful community transport available on Mull, and the on-demand ferry between Mull and Ulva. A gentle 3.5 hr hike from Ulva Ferry, the bothy was easy to find, located at the foot of a crag with a beautiful view of the coast. The well-stocked honesty shop was around 1km away, making it easy to pick up what we needed for meals each day. The island was very peaceful, occasionally running into Roc and Rhoda, while Andy kept us well stocked with firewood . Our hosts were very responsive to messages and made a remote stay feel very easy to accomplish! The wood-burning stove was an absolute must, and we enjoyed being off grid and electricity-free for a long weekend of exploring, reading and relaxing.

Amazing location. We especially loved walking to the local beach and taking a swim even though it was a bit cold given it is April!

I can’t express how much I enjoyed my stay at Eugenies! It was SO comfy. I could have comfortably stayed for a month. They’d thought of everything. The kitchen had everything I needed. It is also located in a great spot since you’re a short drive to stunning beaches and to Tobermory. They were also incredibly kind and gave me local advice and even some sea glass for my collection. I am already planning my next trip! X

Thank you Lesley and Nigel, we had a wonderful week staying at Willowbank. It was beautifully and comfortably furnished and was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Dervaig is such a lovely village in a stunning location and the village store is well stocked with an amazing range of food and essentials. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back to Willowbank to explore more of Mull!
