Saskia's home is just perfect and they're the perfect host! Saskia communicated frequently, clearly and was so friendly. The house was immaculate, and cozy. We booked it so that we could be in Ireland for Christmas with our family. It was twenty minutes from Mullingar - an easy quick drive. The house was so spacious. At no point did we feel on top of each other - as would have in a hotel room. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and stepping out the front door every morning with a cup of tea to take in the fields. The area is so tranquil and quintessential Ireland. I would recommend this home to EVERYONE!!! Anytime we go back to Ireland we will be booking Saskia's home!!! WE LOVED IT!

Would strongly recommend Breda and Newhagggered cottage. Breda was so helpful to us both before and during our stay, going above and beyond to help us. Not only are the surroundings beautiful, but inside is wonderful, bright, spacious and wonderfully clean. Never seen so many toiletries available in an AirBnB, along with selection of items in kitchen and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable and heating easy to control which was welcomed as we arrived feeling very cold. We were mainly there to attend a family wedding locally which was spread over several days, but on the one bright day we were free, we drove into Trim and took a beautiful walk around the castle and along the river. It is such a beautiful area, we just wish we had more time to stay and enjoy. Should we return to the area, we just hope that Newhaggered Cottage will be available again as it was so much like home from home.

We had pretty wet and not overly warm weather; but the accommodation more than made up for it. It’s cosy and very comfortable and you can easily while away hours looking at all the books and records and memorabilia. Especially loved the view from the lounge area. Jim was very welcoming; friendly and kind. A real gent. Top place to stay.

We had a lovely stay at Linda’s appartment ,very spacious and very welcoming .Linda even offered to take us into the hotel for the wedding we were attending !Would stay again in a heartbeat
