Really Lovely place. Was looking for somewhere peaceful to take my mum and dad away for the weekend whilst I’m home on leave, with our dog. And this stunning log cabin ticked all the boxes.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Pictures do not do this place justice, easily one of the nicest if not the nicest AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in. Great amenities for 4 adults and a big big hot tub! It was so peaceful being able to look out of the windows / decking and watch the wildlife too. Can’t wait to revisit, thankyou!

Our stay was peaceful and quiet, we were left alone and found the lodge to be exactly what we needed. It was well lit on the path, the fire pit was great as well as the location and views around the area and at the hot tub. We loved our time here. I’ve recommended it to people already!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As a couple and large dog, we felt very secure and relaxed. The wood fired hot tub was fantastic, and the edition’s sauna was a fantastic bonus. Lots of great walking routes within a short drive away, too. The finishing touches like the welcome paper a guidebook show real care and consideration for their guests. We’d love to come back!

Stayed here from the Friday night to Sunday morning. The place was impeccable and a lot bigger than what was shown on the photos!! Went away for my partners birthday and we had such a lovely time. Alan was very responsive on messages and we were even greeted by a bottle of wine and some shortbread (thank you!!!!). Great place to stay, lots of room and things to do. Loved that Alan had left some DVD's and board games perfect for our Saturday night in due to the rain. Hot tub was wonderful and very relaxing. Alan even offered us a later check out when was very nice. Great location, lovely little lake to walk around, onsite bar & restaurant was good. Even had an arcades room. Will definitely be coming back here!!! Thank you!!

Absolutely loved our stay here had everything you needed and more, really detailed explanation from directions to get there and how to use all the appliances. Sarah went above and beyond with adding extra things like walks and recommendations on where to go and dine out, day trips etc. wouldn't change a thing and hope to be back soon thank you for a lovely relaxing time was amazing from start to finish

The Fell Hideaways were perfect for our get away. Ideally located for the various Roman Forts and Hadrians Wall. The place itself was peaceful, with the four pods well spaced apart - privacy was assured. It was clean and our hosts brilliantly responsive. I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Herdy Lodge, and Andrew and Alison were the most welcoming hosts you could ask for. The lodge itself was beautiful and immaculate. The surrounding countryside was stunning and sitting on the terrace in the evening for the sunset with only the birds to hear was a little slice of heaven. The lodge is very accessible, we visited with our 1 year son and there was plenty of room for his travel cot. He particularly loved watching all the sheep from the terrace and Marjorie the chicken(s!) kept us all entertained! Thank you for a thoroughly amazing time and we hope to visit again soon!

Absolutely amazing stay here, just what we needed to get away from city life, scenery was beautiful, hot tub was amazing, very clean, we just loved every second of it, we didn't want to come home! Thank you Catherine for having the prosecco and banners up for us on arrival , it was a lovely suprise for my partners birthday. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in Larch Lodge and stewards bothy, originally juts planning to stay for one night but didn't want to leave, Paul was very accommodating offering us the bothy for our second night as the lodges were all booked. Both gorgeous but the view Larch Lodge couldn't be beaten. Great at communicating quickly and making sure we had everything we needed, we'll be back

We here for 2 nights to give our elderly dog Kiera a 'last holiday' and when we arrived, we were blown away by the cabin. The hosts vibe shines through in all the little details. Unfortunately, Kiera took a turn for the worse after spending just 5 hours here and we had to head home to the vets. Lotte was extremely understanding and compassionate when we had to leave the cabin early. We are gutted we didn't get to spend the full time here to appreciate it's full experience, but wouldn't hesitate in booking again. We plan to book here again every year to remember the time we had with Kiera. The cabin is located in a little piece of heaven and is exactly what you need to get off grid and forget about life for a while. the record player was a great touch too! 10/10

The perfect rural setting for 2 people. At first, the area takes your breath away and then it allows you to relax. The Green House is well thought out and has everything you need for your stay. It is delightful to sit on the patio watching the chickens and sheep or listen to the rain. Lots of hiking in the area and sporting clays are also nearby. The local pub is open for dinner every night and lunch on weekends. You are on your own for breakfast

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very cody and clean. The surroundings are beautiful.

We had an amazing weekend, enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. The cabin has a gorgeous view, is beautifully designed and was super comfortable and cosy. Michael and Jenny were lovely hosts and had thought of everything in their guide and recommendations.

Lovely experience staying in Woodpecker Lodge, it had everything we needed. It was private and scenic, clean & comfortable accommodation. Nicely decorated and had lots of finishing touches such as delicious homemade fruitcake on arrival & milk for tea & coffee.

We absolutely loved our stay! The outdoor tub was so peaceful and truly a unique experience. The place was immaculate. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Second time staying here , Lovely place and Mhari is a great host . She was very accommodating on our first visit when the dates had to be changed due to a red weather warning. Will definitely be back !

We had a beautiful holiday here and Rosie and Jim were more than accomodating. The lodge was stunning, comfortable and the views/animals are truly stunning. Rosie is an amazing host who greets you with as much information as you wish when you arive then leaves you alone to your own devices unless you need to contact her. Which is perfect if you are looking to keep private as the lodge itself feels very private. Finally the surrounding areas are just a short drive away and I highly recommended Coulter Fell if you are up for a hike! Thank you Rosie for being an incredible host and for allowing us to stay at your beautiful lodge. It made this week truly magical for me and my family.
