Family-friendly vacation rentals in Key West

We booked this home last minute and now have our go-to vacation spot in Marathon! Alida is a friendly host with great communication. The home is very clean. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc. The kayaks and paddle board made our vacation even more special! The steet is very quiet and peaceful. The setting in the back yard is very private, as is the long dock. We had a 23' rental boat for our stay. The view is amazing and the sunsets are a special treat each evening. I very much appreciated the ample, comfortable seating everywhere - inside and outside of the home. Thank you Alida. We made great family memories here!

Our stay in Marathon couldn’t have gone any better! I traveled with my three 20-something sons and their wives/significant others. The layout of Gerardo’s home was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of room, places to enjoy together, and space where everyone could find some peace and quiet. The location was ideal. We were within an easy driving distance of all excursions and restaurants and could even walk to Island Fish Company, which was one of our favorites. Gerardo was extremely responsive. He checked in prior to our arrival and touched base a couple of times to make sure there was nothing we needed. An excellent home I recommend to others with no hesitation!!

This home is even more than the pictures show! It is an extraordinary home for people who love the sun, shade, beach, and the beautiful home just makes it a luxurious vacation. I could not find one aspect I didn’t love.❤️

This place is a gem! The condo was very spacious and it was supplied with everything we needed, no need to buy any extras like other places we have stayed at- Thank you for that! The pool was fantastic! Walking distance to beautiful Smathers Beach. We did not get to do any water activities due to the wind but we had fun exploring around town. Will definitely be returning!

Her apartment is in a convenient location in Key West. It is a clean home with all we need for cooking. Sunset is beautiful. Airport is nearby and interesting to us. We enjoied our stay.

This condo is in a nice location in the Upper Keys, so you can conveniently arrive there and then drive to the Middle and Lower Keys. It's clean, cutely decorated, with a nice view of a mangrove forest and the ocean in the background. The area is peaceful and safe. Largo, the owner, is responsive with communication and helpful with recommendations. We had a wonderful time. Thanks, Largo!

The Grouper house was fabulous. I stayed there with my wife and kids for a week. Everything about this place was top notch. From booking to check in and check out. Her staff is nothing short of superb. Sean makes sure every need or question is answered promptly. The best place I have ever stayed. Highly recommend.

Our stay was great. We had detailed instructions, the unit itself was decorated nicely, and the amenities within the building were great (pool and spa). Also the private beach area and walkability to food, snacks, restaurants was great!

The location was amazing. The house was dated and needed some updates in the kitchen and bathrooms. The carpets were in need of replacing. Can't beat the location.

We had an amazing time at Peggy and Jim's condo! Great location on the southern side of Key West not far from the airport. Walking distance to some amazing breakfast spots and Cuban-inspired coffee shops. Also just a short Uber ride to Duvall street and pretty much any major attraction you would want to see in Key West. The condo was perfect for a family of four with a great pool and ocean views and beaches within walking distance. The host was excellent at communicating before and during the trip. Would definitely stay here again. A+!

We enjoyed our time. It was great being centrally located to visit both Key West and Islamorada. The home was super clean and the couches and bed were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and having a bbq grill was an added perk! The neighbors are quiet and friendly. We never knew anyone was around unless we saw someone coming and going. The view to the ocean was great!

We are glad we stayed here and would definitely stay again. The house was spacious, clean, and in good shape. Our kids loved the twin beds and they also loved the pool which was clean and warm. The outdoor seating areas were a nice touch, and the house was well appointed. I was a little disappointed to learn I could not use the dock in front of the place (due to maintenance), but the marina staff was very friendly and made the courtesy dock available to us for the boat we rented nearby. Would definitely recommend for small families.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, and there is a nice sidewalk along the water right across the street. There’s a nice pool, shuffle board, ping pong, and on site restaurant. Only took at most 10 to 15 minutes to everything in Key West. The rooms are perfect and offer privacy. Private bathroom for each room. Ample seating on the porch. A perfect area in the living room to play games. Im sure we will be back. :)

Fantastic place for a home base while the beautiful keys. Close enough to key west for an upbeat day, very quiet in the evening. If anything, I’d say I was expecting less from the description and was very surprised at how nice this place is. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Everything was great. We loved the apartment. The bathroom, bedrooms and all the rest very clean. We are happy. Thank you Sebastian!

The house was well equipped with all of the essentials. We had 8 adults and plenty of room. We did have to wash towels a few times, and buy more laundry soap, but the washer and dryer were conveniently located on the main level. The pool was smaller than what the pictures showed, but it perfectly suited our needs. All members of our party viewed the listing before we booked it and none of us realized it was a twin home. However, there is tons of privacy and the only times we noticed we had neighbors was when the shared dock was used. We had to buy a cooler (for poolside and the beach) and beach chairs. There were some pool floaters left behind, from previous guests that we used. The interior of the home is beautiful, with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. This is in a great location - close to grocery stores, restaurants and Sombrero beach! Monica was great to work with!

I stayed at the Truman Annex last year for the boat races and loved the location. I decided to rent from Wally this year due to his condo was more open and also had a 2nd bath! He was very responsive when I texted him, the house was very clean and everything was perfect, I highly recommend!

This house was a perfect spot for my partner and I and Cooper our pup. swam in the pool, sat in jacuzzi, paddle boarded ,kayaked, road the bikes, ect. we brought our boat down but unfortunately had a few issues with it so wasn't able to go out fishing as much as we'd liked. but there was plenty to do at and around this beautiful place. would definitely come back in the future:))

Claire had an emergency which caused her to forget to contact house cleaning but she was awesome to work with and went over and above to make it right when we told her of the problem. You won’t find a more beautiful private place to stay. Location is as good as it gets. Claire was a great host and we really appreciated it.

Wonderful place to stay and great location for multiple key adventures throughout your stay. My family and I enjoyed the stay. We will definitely stay with little torch cottages again!

We absolutely loved Jennifer’s home! The house was so clean and had everything we needed included towels, kid’s toys and even baby gates for the stairs. The pool was so perfect and we had a blast swimming every day. We highly recommend staying at this beautiful property and will be visiting again!

Beautiful view and clean home. Watch gorgeous sunrises right from the screened in porch or out on the dock. Great local restaurants close. We highly recommend The No Name Pub (amazing pizza, and make sure you bring a dollar for their wall). The Bent Prop was another favorite and was only about half a mile away. Breakfast recommendation is to go to Key West to Blue Heaven (try the banana bread)!

The location is great, the quality of the boat and everything was also great. The charter experience was very cool as well. Just ensure you are able to check in before 5pm as it can cause issues.
