We are locatedn the Three Peaks route and close to the Pennine Way/Dales way. The property is surrounded by the finest walking and mountain bike trails in England. The house is situated on a quiet cul de sac in Kendal, a 10/15 min walk from the mainline train station, Oxenholme Station, and a 20-25 minute walk into town. The bedroom is on the ground floor with an ensuite private shower room. We are close to the hospital, ideal if need somewhere to stay if you are working there for a week or two. Breakfast is provided for you in the utility room, you are welcome to use our dining room.

My home is on a small, Lakeland farm set up on a hillside with wonderful views down to the Duddon estuary. You could be woken by the song of a blackbird or robin or the cockerel; otherwise, it's a wonderfully quiet, peaceful spot. The hens and cats hang out in the yard, various sheep breeds, four ponies, and a scattering of cows populate the fields, and beyond that a gate opens onto the hills.
