If you are interested in hiking, there is the new hiking route "Eifelsteig" only 500m from the apartment. The bus station to reach Aachen´s city center is just a 2 min walk away. De studio heeft hoge muren van 3,40 meter. wat karakteristiek is voor dit pand. In de zomer blijft het dan ook lekker koel. De studio is met hoogwaardige materialen afgewerkt. Vanuit het terras heb je uitzicht over de uitgestrekte weilanden en de geul.

We offer a granny apartment in our house in Gillrath with its own entrance in the countryside and yet a few minutes by car from the city of Geilenkirchen with very good bus and train connections to Aachen, Düsseldorf and Cologne. In the village of Gillrath is the historic steam train station. There are many opportunities for cycling, hiking and excursions. Several recreational areas are nearby, as is the Dutch border.

The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is accessible via an external staircase. There is also a small terrace that can be used. The interior walls are plastered with clay plaster, the floor is laid with plank boards. The apartment is located in a quiet side street. Public transport (bus and train) is very close. A regular connection to Aachen, Herzogenrath or the Netherlands can be reached in a 10-15 minute walk.
