Glastonbury Valley Glamping

Come and stay at Glastonbury Valley on our family run organic farm located in Pilton, Somerset. Glastonbury Valley overlooks a secluded, wooded valley close to Glastonbury and Wells. The farm has been featured on TV’s Countryfile and Escape to the Country for its produce and beauty. We provide luxury accommodation for up to 20 people in five traditional 5m bell tents which can sleep up to 4 people, with two single beds which can be zipped together to make a double and two single fold out beds.

Each lodge sleeps 6 people and up to 2 dogs, in a King Bedroom, a Twin Bedroom and Double Cabin Bed. All the beds are made up with Egyptian cotton bed linen and cosy duvets. Each lodge has its own bathroom, complete with shower, flushing toilet, basin and heated towel rail so you don’t need to sacrifice on your creature comforts. We had the most amazing time staying in Moonflower. It was our children's first experience of camping and they are very keen to go again. There were some very friendly piglets which kept them entertained for the whole stay. The views were incredible from the tent. Haley was very accommodating and friendly. The facilities were all very clean. We would definitely stay again.

This was a really lovely place - very quiet, great views and plenty of space for my two boys (4 and 8) to run around and play! Christine and Peter were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t have been better hosts! We booked for two nights very last minute but only ended up staying for one as even though it was a sunny weekend the night got pretty cold - but we will definitely be back again once the proper summer weather rolls in!

What a view!!!!! The location of the bell tent is just fabulous! We couldn’t get enough of the view. This combined with the fact the kids could play into the night on the huge adventure playground was priceless! They had a fab time with other families staying and then we all roasted marshmallows before hitting our beds. The tents are beautifully laid out and spacious. Not sure whether we were lucky with other families retiring early and waking later but we heard nothing but animals from our tent! Showers and toilet block were clean and well maintained. Would defo recommend but not tooooo much in case we can’t get in again!!!!

A little slice of paradise! We loved our glamping experience. The facilities were excellent we loved access to the natural swimming pool. The tent and cabana, had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Kate and Ben are amazing hosts and so welcoming. Our little boy aged 9 loved all the animals and the pool. Finally, we all loved Hilda and miss her! Such special memories. Thank you

An amazing find. Great stay with 2 young kids. Tents were amazing and looked exactly like the photos . Really clean toilets and showers. Great clean linen and towels provided. Comfy beds. We watched the sunset from our tent and had an amazing view. Close to the animals and park kids loved it and would definitely recommend and go back.

We only had a one night stay, it was a stop gap from another holiday destination so we would be closer to home and have some relax time. With some unforseen circumstances we didn't arrive until dark which was a shame as we would have loved to embrace the whole experience. What I can say as the set up is a warm and friendly, not too many pitches and nicely spaced and and friendly. The bed was more comfortable than a hotel and our indoor Woodburner kept us warm, my favourite smell is the smoky smell! I'm used to a simple nature/wild life after living in a motorhome by myself for 2 years so this is what I miss. and i would encourage everyone to try it. Take extra torches or lanterns but I found this enough home comforts and the countryside is stunning.

We had a fantastic stay - our first time 'glamping' but certainly won't be the last. The place feels much more luxurious than we were expecting, is very peaceful, and the attention to detail in all of the rooms was wonderful. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of warm blankets provided, and a brilliantly hot shower. The hot tub was an excellent touch - even in late October. Lucy's communication throughout was excellent, and she even made sure to come and meet us in the dark when we arrived much later than expected. All in all a superb trip. Thank you!
