Beautiful place, clean and cosy! So peaceful, the dog enjoyed having free roam of the field. Bed was extremely comfy!!! No wifi but wasn’t needed! We played on the Sega and watched films provided which was a nice touch. Edward was very helpful! Would definitely return! We have also already recommended to a few people!

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

We absolutely loved our stay at rectory retreat, the setting was beautiful and it was so peaceful. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very cleverly thought out. The hot tub looking out onto open fields under the stars was the cherry on the cake! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Already planning our next stay! We found the cabin really easily though it might be tricky if arriving in the dark. Absolutely fantastic location and surroundings. Beautiful views, peaceful, everything you need. It’s glamping so if you’re expecting that then you will be thrilled! Sat outside and had a drink in the sunshine, woke up to a herd of deer crossing the field in the morning. Plenty of great eateries around if you don’t fancy bbqing. The sky at night is absolutely stunning as you would imagine. Had everything we needed and stayed warm and cosy all night thanks to very good quality bedding and the little log burner. Cabin is cosy but we had enough space for our suitcase and the dogs crate too. Really special place and that’s coming from someone who’s not usually a camping/glamping girlie!

We had such a nice stay at Happy on the Hill. The views were beautiful the wagon was super cozy and the bath was the icing on the cake. Neil was super responsive and helpful giving us walking recommendations and places to see but also gave us our space and to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. We would happily come back again!

Lovely little cabin. Super cosy. So close to Glastonbury town, we did a slow walk and got there in 14 mins. 18 acres of land to walk around too. Great outdoor space, with a double bed gazebo. Sounds of many different birds flying around as you take some time to relax in the sun. Kitchen with a little oven, microwave and small fridge. Fabulous little fire, which kept us very warm and cosy. Nice big walk in shower. We had a really lovely stay and would come again. Thank you !

Our stay at David and Jill's cabin was absolutely wonderful! The cabin itself is beautifully maintained and has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen. The location in Laverton is perfect - peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to explore the area. David and Jill were exceptional hosts - responsive, welcoming, and they clearly take pride in providing a special experience for their guests. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we particularly enjoyed the views. We left feeling refreshed and are already planning when we can return. Highly recommend this.

Really beautiful scenery in a tranquil countryside , the hot tub was perfect for watching the sunset , cabin bed was so comfy & also we loved the 2 dogs who visited us for dinner & breakfast 😂

Our stay was perfect - the hut is even better than described, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and set in the most peaceful surroundings. Every little detail had been thought of to make us feel completely at home. We were welcomed with fresh milk, eggs, tea, and coffee, which was such a lovely touch and made settling in feel so easy and thoughtful. It was clear a lot of care had gone into creating a relaxing space for guests. We left feeling refreshed - highly recommend!

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

The little shed was so cute. It had all we needed for an overnight stay. The personal touches were lovely. Art. Books. Fresh flowers. The heater worked really well, we felt nice and warm and cosy. Would recommend.

This cabin is an absolute gem if you're visiting Galstonbury for the Tor and Chalice Well. It sits on the side of the Tor, literally a few feet above the Red Spring. The cabin has its own access from the lane so you don't have to feel uncomfortable invading the host's garden to access it. There is also a rear access, over a stile, to the first field on the path up to the Tor. We loved the way the cabin is constructed around a tree trunk, and the attention paid to ecologically sustainable materials. It's absolutely spotless, with beautiful furniture, luxurious bedding, and is positioned to provide privacy for guests and hosts. Highly recommend.

We had such a fantastic stay at Val and Tony's beautiful cabin! The place was spotless, cozy, and even more stunning than the photos. The highlight for us was definitely the hot tub—it was the perfect way to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. What truly made our stay extra special was the thoughtful birthday touch they added for our daughter. It meant so much to us and made the trip unforgettable for her. You can really tell Val and Tony care about their guests and go the extra mile. We can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a clean, gorgeous cabin with amazing hosts, this is it. We'll definitely be back!

Had a lovely 3 nights stay in a very comfortable cottage with beautiful views across open countryside. The cottage is well equipped with everything you may need and was very clean . Lovely sunny conservatory leads onto garden and patio . Comfortable bed with lovely comfy pillows. Excellent location for travel to many of the popular tourist locations all within easy reach. Good instructions from Chris and Natalie for directions and check-in as well as secure gated parking . Would stay again if we revisit the area again.

A fabulous peaceful and romantic bolt hole - beautifully furnished, very comfortable. Great welcome hamper, much appreciated. Just the right level of extremely helpful and friendly service and lots of peace and quiet. Having to make the fire (all beautifully pre-laid for us) and keep it going for the hot tub was fun and well worth it when we got in. The robes and slippers are a great touch. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved my stay in the Hay trailer! The place is cosy, authentic and peaceful - perfect for a quiet trip away. But still a short drive to Bath City, which is a fantastic place to see with loads to do. Sophie is a lovely host, responsive and provided lots of recommendations. Her place is brilliant to have long walks and really unwind. Cannot recommend enough!

We had a wonderful few days stay at the shepherd's hut. The hut is so beautifully and thoughtfully designed, and super well equipped with everything you could need! It was so cosy, a perfect little respite. Would highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

A nice and spacious little hut, perfect for our small family of four. The kids absolutely loved having Alexa in the room and enjoyed the big garden outside with the chickens. The weather wasn’t in our favour when we arrived, but we were blessed with a bit of sunshine the next morning and we made the most of it! Iain and Victoria were wonderful hosts. Their quick response time and kind, humble attitude made us feel like guests in their own home. Thank you so much for everything you’re doing in the best interest of your guests. Our one night break was truly delightful, and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and family friendly getaway.

Thank you for letting us stay at your wee haven on the hill, it was a 30th birthday treat and something a little different and we loved the experience. There was a lot of attention to detail - lots of little trinkets, the fairy lights and all the lovely flowers which made it seem so special. The area was absolutely beautiful and waking up listening to the birds was a favourite of mine. We had two dogs with us also and there was plenty of room for us all. I also loved how we could just turn up with our bags and food and everything else was provided. Would recommend this place to anyone it really was so lovely to stay at your place, thank you so much!

Have returned home after a couple of days stay here, The place was exactly as described, Beautiful setting, peaceful and plenty to do with in close proximity of where we were. We made use of the bbq, weather was on our side! Waking up to the deers in the garden was a nice bonus. Joe was a really nice host and responsive with questions. Highly recommend staying here

I had a wonderful stay at the Loft, it was the perfect getaway. The location is stunning, there are some amazing views out of the windows and some very beautiful walks. The wood fired hot tub is a great touch and one which I thoroughly enjoyed for two nights. I love the super comfy bed, pillows and duvet, I slept like a log. My most memorable moment was Winifred the dog, who kept me company whilst sunbathing, he's so cute. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I will definitely be back.

A lovely, well equipped shepherd's hut. the bed was comfy and plenty warm enough. the kitchen was well stocked with utensils plates etc. it was lovely being next to the field of sheep, waking up to them in the morning, they were fun to watch. the host also has pigs and chickens. the outdoor shower was fun and we had plentiful wood for the log burner, fire pit and coals for the BBQ. lovely walks with a footpath going straight past and the lakes to enjoy various activities. the hosts had provided eggs milk, tea and coffee which was a nice touch. thanks for a lovely stay ☺️
