Renovated Rustic Stable set in Rolling Hills

EliseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Delightful country cottage w. Charm

StaceyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at Susan’s house. The house is so cosy and spacious. The garden was huge and perfect for an Easter egg hunt! We stayed with four adults and two young children and there was plenty of space. The sunroom was lovely for relaxing and for the children to play, and the garden was amazing. Susan was also very kind and communicative.

I stayed at the milking parlour, Lovely little place to stay. Very clean, peaceful and has everything you need there. They provided a lovely little welcome pack on arrival and there was milk in the fridge, bonus! Especially after a long drive and all you’re fancying is a cuppa! I have booked to stay for the extra days I need to work away. Fab place! Jo & Trevor are quick at replying too. There are some nice pubs around too, and you aren’t too far from Yeovil! Thank you guys, can’t wait to come back! 😊

Manor Farm Cottage

If I could give extra stars beyond the 5 star rating, I really would. Hillary's AirBnB is beautiful, exactly what my wife and I needed and agreed it was one of the best places we've stayed at via AirBnB. Hillary allowed for an early check-in, was really communicative being friendly and helpful whenever we did communicate. Cannot recommend enough!

Swallows’ Retreat

DanielRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Our third stay here and it was just as great as the first time. The lodge is always super clean and very well presented, a fully functioning kitchen and large bathroom, nice comfy bed and the living area is perfect. Lots of personal high end touches which are always appreciated. The area is so peaceful and quiet, we loved our free days and evenings just chilling in the hot tub, enormous views from the tub which are fantastic, we again were lucky enough to see the Deers in the fields next to us and even an Owl. Lots of birds and wildlife to keep you occupied and entertained. For anyone wanting to get back to nature this is the perfect place. The absolutely magical Glastonbury is less than a 10 minute drive away which will take the breath away from any and all newcomers. We love our annual stay here and can not wait to come back again already. Thank you Christine & Ron for another perfect stay.

A Unique Farm Retreat

RosaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Granary offered a weekend of total relaxation following my birthday. The home matches the beautiful photos and oozes charm and comfort. The cabin was easy to find and the instructions sent over were very clear. I was welcomed with a lovely hamper with local treats as well as a welcome book with lots of recommendations. I was delighted to spend time reading in the mezzanine, sitting on the patio listening to the sounds of the birds, taking a sunset dip in the hot tub and stargazing at night. My only note is that prior to my arrival, I had enquired about the additional perks however, this was not followed up on. It was slightly disappointing but did not take away from my experience. All in all, I had a fantastic time and would be delighted to return!

Chocolate Box thatch & bell tent for chill

KirstyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Chocolate Box Cottage is literally just that - right out of a photo on a box of chocolates and lived up to the expectations. Amanda was a great host, from her initial communication, giving us early access to drop our bags off, exceptionally accomodating with our requests, checking in with us whilst we were at the Cottage and even making sure we had made it home safe. And the (many!) little touches upon arrival including a hamper with goodies, continental breakfast, drinks in the fridge, & so on really helped elevate the stay for us. And the bench at the Telephone Box Library opposite helped stretch out sitting in the sunshine enjoying drinks well into the evening sunset :-). The village the cottage is in is beautiful, tiny and exceptionally peaceful with a great pub and coffee shop both within a very quick 10 mins walking distance. And the surrounding villages have pretty much everything else you would need. A lovely stay, and would happily return.

Plenty of space for us all and we were fortunate to have wonderful weather Absolutely beautiful location , peaceful and amazing views Property immaculate and we loved the large kitchen /dining area where we spent most of our time ... great for cooking and socialising at the same time so we could all be together and enjoy views too ... Our daughters two dogs loved the surrounding fields to run around in and we were able to enjoy a lovely circular walk from the property on the monarchs way and Cotswold Way .. beds all v comfortable and everything of high quality Nothing to fault and we had a great time here - one of the best kept Air BnB s some of us had been to . Enjoyed the Banana cake and fresh eggs A small point - there is another property ( sleeping 4) that is let separately which is v close - It wasn't an issue for us as only one person staying who was hardly there so was quiet but it could

We loved our stay here, perfect for a break away from city life! Big shout out to Alex and Rob for being great hosts, they were friendly, responsive and helped us with any difficulties we had. I loved that they had a chimnea, which allowed us to enjoy the beauty of a fire pit and the night sky. There is a river behind the house, which we loved exploring the area of. Would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful getaway, around nature.
