Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kendall County

This three bedroom, two bath home was more than I expected. Chuck worked with me on an early entry as my husband and I were on a tight schedule to get to our granddaughter’s wedding.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful this stay was. Beautiful stargazing, plentiful songbirds, relaxing in the hammock/screened in room/tippy top of the world, or just laying around in one of the chairs outside, this place was ideal. Relaxing was NOT a problem. From the moment we got inside the gate we saw beautiful wildlife and incredible flowers. Sunsets are as incredible as you’d imagine as you can actually look down on the treetops nearby. We loved this as our favorite Airbnb to date & we cannot wait to return as soon as we can. Our hostess is also an excellent musician and gifted jeweler. Check out her collection of creative pieces.

The place is very tranquil and there's lots to do just staying here. We enjoyed the pickleball court, pool table, pool, hot tub and saying hi to the animals. Kim is a very welcoming host. Highly recommend staying here.

This was an incredibly memorable stay at an architectural masterpiece exuding tranquility and relaxation after a day filled with hikes and the crowds of Fredericksburg.

This is our 3rd stay here and it never disappoints. The cabin is always clean and welcoming. The fishing is always great and the addition of the new animals was cool. We will def be back again this year 😀

The Rock House is quiet and comfortable and as described/pictured. It's easy to spend time there -- relax on the porch, watch birds and wildlife, see the stars (or maybe a lunar eclipse!) at night. We were glad we brought our binoculars! The location near Blanco was a good central base camp for our day trips exploring the Hill Country. Kent and Sherry are great and their local recommendations were super helpful.

The cabin itself was charming, cozy and clean. The fridge was stocked with drinks and there was a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us, how sweet! The property offered peacefulness and great views of the Guadalupe river. We loved sitting outside drinking coffee and listening to the birds and wildlife. Beth was a great host as well! Would recommend, we will definitely be back!
