a glitch with Airbnb caused double-booking of the listing I booked. the Robokiller app on my phone blocked Vicky's attempts to let me know the the listing was already booked and not available. She and Micky went out of their way to make a place for me to stay and upgraded me to a lovely cabin the next day. They are very hospitable hosts and have a lovely, peaceful place.

Photos and descriptions were completely accurate, but we were pleasantly surprised how cute and homey the entire property was! The room was small, cozy, clean, and newly remodeled with fun decor. It was just perfect and had everything we needed for our short trip! The Office gals were super friendly when we asked for food recommendations, too!

A warm and comfortable stay in a quiet and serene lodge-style hotel situated along a beautiful creek. The town of comfort is a short distance from Fredericksburg and a very peaceful place to stay. The Meyer hotel is historic and full of charm all throughout the lodge. Staff is very responsive and polite. The value you get for your stay is extremely competitive, this was our second time staying here for a weekend trip to Fredericksburg, you just can't beat the peace and accommodation for the price. Check-in is completely remote if you prefer that and can be done at anytime during your reservation. Thanks again!

If you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful farm experience escape with all the comforts of modern life, Ogden Ranch will be perfect for you! Our family had a lovely time and made some beautiful memories during our stay. The goats were so friendly and fun to pet. We loved relaxing with some games in the game room and just being outdoors and walking the property and watching a beautiful TX sunset from the back patio with a picnic style dinner. The tree swing was fun for the kids and although it was cold (April) we still spent a little time in the pool. David was extremely responsive, a great communicator, and the house was extremely clean. The property outside was not only gorgeous but it was also well maintained and extremely functional and well thought out. I loved being able to sleep without hearing traffic and just the sound of nature out my window!! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Gorgeous property and great accommodations. Eddie the bartender was great. The walk down to the creek was gorgeous and so peaceful. Very comfortable bedding. Plenty of towels provided. Complimentary tea was nice. Charming decor. Great location that we were able to walk everywhere. Great live music at several places. Would definitely stay again.

camp comfort is a great place! close to downtown comfort shops! our room backed up to the river, so beautiful and peaceful as we took a nap in the hammock. Our cabin was so cute very clean! We were able to start a fire at the communityfire pit and was provided with wood. it was a great stay! we will be back.

Blanco Riverside Getaway - Villa Two

We were looking for peace and quiet, and we found it. It was exactly what we wanted. Everything was just as described, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the view and took advantage of the provided wine glasses and jacuzzi tub. We will definitely book again.

Tonka's guest house was perfect. The pictures were all accurate, I would just say that it actually looked even nicer/more lux than the pictures convey. Comfort itself is very small, but feels like it's growing. There's some adorable coffee shops and antique shops that are all walking distance, and then of course Fredericksburg is just a short drive away as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kendall! Great location within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We happened to stay on the second Saturday of the month and enjoyed a Saturday market right outside of the hotel! The staff was so friendly and accommodating! Would definitely stay here again

We loved staying at the Kendall Inn! A gorgeous hotel (lots of beautiful wood work, antiques and architectural elements) and it’s a property with a wedding venue and multiple lodging options! We stayed in the Texan Room (on the 2nd floor of the school house)! Super roomy, quiet and quaint! It had double beds, a dining space with four chairs, a coffee bar, tv, sitting area, and a remodeled bathroom with a tin tub and nice walk in shower! Loved the antique sink/vanity area! The only complaint was the fact that the oak tree was dropping *acorns* on the metal roof which was quite noticeable sporadically throughout the stay. It didn’t seem to be an issue once we fell asleep. Just wish that been disclosed up front. Will definitely stay at the property again! Loved the location and surrounding area!

Beautiful cabin! Very comfortable and clean. Didn’t realize it was part of the hotel at first so that’s something to note. Fun boutiques and shops just around the corner. Pool was fabulous. Will be back!

Great spot in a cute little town. We spent the day in Fredericksburg and drove to Comfort that evening to go antiquing the next morning. Clean room and the bed was very comfortable! I could see us returning for a longer stay.

A well-appointed sleeping area showcases two beds, each framed by soft, neutral-colored headboards. Warm light is provided by bedside lights mounted on the wall. A wooden side table features a radio, and the space is anchored by a patterned black and white rug.

Double Queen Cabin at Camp Comfort

As a co host, I applaud them because from the responsiveness of the host to the ambience of the camp site, which wasn’t really a camp site to me (it was a glampsite), it was much better than every campsite ive visited. We stayed for one night and the guests that were also in cabins were friendly and having fun at the stage doing karaoke. We were tired when we got in from driving and didn’t get to socialize since we were resting up for our Fredricksburg day of wineries. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back! I’d book here if I was reading this review.

My favorite peaceful sanctuary in south Texas. The Meyer Inn is a special place located in a special town. We come here all the time and it never disappoints. Alone or with family and pets, we always feel welcome and at home.

A comfortable sleeping area features a spacious bed with crisp white bedding. Above the bed, two framed red artworks depict horseback riders. Elegant wall sconces provide soft illumination, while a small decorative pillow adds a subtle touch on the bed.

Camp Comfort was a great stay, lots to do for the kiddos. Rooms had plenty of space and beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The room was beautiful and very clean, the shower was great and the linens were very nice. There was a big TV and the room was close to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Comfort. We enjoyed the pool and had a great time.
