Farmstay vacation rentals in Kendall County

I decided to stay here last minute in NYE because I don't like bring in the city when everyone lights fire. This place was an absolute treat especially for the last minute reservations. It was so quiet and peaceful. The free roaming animals are really cool and they let my 2 dogs have an entire fence in field to run in during our stay. The restaurants are close but far enough to make this place "in the niddle of nowhere." My daughter and I really enjoyed the horses, birds and goats. It was such a busy day but so refreshing and a great way to start our New Year. My 13 year old and I decided this is our go-to when we want to get away in the future.

Good furniture, comfortable bed, and a very sweet, beautiful, friendly cat that loves everyone makes a person feel at home in the very peaceful setting you will find yourself in. A very relaxing atmosphere

I can't say enough about Vicky And Micky, they were fabulous! We did the tour and the horse back riding and we even decided to do the dinner. Everything they are doing that farm is amazing and all non-profit to help save animals. If you're hesitant about dinner and price looks too much, DON'T BE! We were hesitant but they sincerely out did themselves. They have a culinary background and wowed us from beginning to end, it absolutely worth every penny! They know what they're doing in kitchen and tailored everything to our likes. It was such a relaxing weekend to get way, very nice place.

Vicky and Micky work hard to keep guests happy. I arrived right after Texas had record breaking cold temperatures, it hadn't been that cold since the 1800s. Naturally, this created some issues that were completely out of their control but Vicky and Micky worked hard to ensure all guests were taken care of. I wasn't able to get the cabin I reserved at first but they were able to move me into it a couple of days later. They worked hard to make up for the change in venue. Each of the cabins are a little different and have different stand out features. I was going to be working during my stay and the Lone Star cabin looked like a good fit. Its comfortable, peaceful, has good wi-fi and looks great. It is also set up well for a larger group. I loved the goats, pigs and donkeys freely roaming around. They are very dog friendly which was a major deciding factor for me. There are tons of add ons to cater to all kinds of experiences.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. They have a great thing going with rescue animals and birds. Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

It was so quiet that’s what impressed me the most And within 20 minutes, you could be right in town Which was nice I love animals. It was awesome.

The house and property exceeded our expectations! The description and pictures were spot on, but the peacefulness that exists there is impossible to capture in words or photographs. Beautiful!

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was perfect and it was a beautiful property. Upon checking in, the bathroom door was locked and the host had someone there to fix it in minutes! Highly recommend staying here

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

The Farmhouse is in a very quiet area. We loved the nostalgia of the place and the peaceful atmosphere. Bartley was spot on as a host. We would definitely stay again!

Holly’s place was beautiful, and it was about 8 min from the heart of downtown Boerne. Her 2 dogs were so sweet. We appreciate Nigel cleaning the pool and both of them checking in to make sure my friends and I were good. We enjoyed getting to walk on the property and see the bees and see the pretty flowers naturally blossoming. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We had a great weekend :)

We had a great stay! Close to the action of Main Street, but tucked back and felt secluded and private. We were able to enjoy the patio and a fire and see the deer just behind the house. Perfect spot for us to spend time with longtime friends.

We were actually pleasantly surprised that the home was even better than the photos! John was a fabulous host. He met us at the property to welcome us and gave us an overview of the whole place. We had 2 requests and John met our needs without blinking an eye. The home was well cared for and had everything we could possibly need and more! I would highly recommend the ranch and I will definitely return. Thank you John!!!

The stay at Yaya's was perfect for what we were looking for: an escape into the Texas Hill Country with our family where we could spread out, relax, and enjoy fun games and conversations. The layout of the place allowed for casual interactions and memory building. The heated pool was especially lovely, and the girls loved visiting with the miniature horses. All around a big hit with the family.

If you and your partner are looking for a secluded and private country getaway, Bliss in Boerne is so quiet and perfect. We were able to shut out the world and enjoy one on one time! Ben is a great and very responsive host with an adorable casita. We enjoyed the hot tub, saw donkeys and horses on a stroll. It was just nice and peaceful!

Great place to stay. Clean, well appointed, clear instructions and very comfortable. Close to the winery and some snacks and drinks provided. Farm atmosphere and winery events. Definitely at great place.

We had a wonderful stay at legacy farmstead! It’s our second time to stay and we love it!

We had a fantastic time at Haven House. Ideal location, pristine environment and communication with the owners was phenomenal. The kids had a great time feeding the ducks and donkeys (nice touch on crackers and carrots in the fridge). Coffee was stocked with our personal favorites! Morning coffee by the pond was magnificent. Stay here!

They offer gourmet meals, horseback riding lessons, gun range lessons, and expertly selected wines and mixed drinks. The goats are so fun to watch, with babies climbing trees! But truly what makes this place special is Vicky and Micky, living angels whose loving faith lives in their works and not just in their words. If you need a deeper rest that a simple "place to stay" can offer, Home Away Ranch is where you want to be!

So highly recommend this beautiful home. I lived the quietness & beautiful scenery. Absolutely loved it and very comfortable and Melissa was such an amazing. Five Star you won’t regret staying here.

If you want an AWESOME place and the peace and quiet of the outdoors, then this is your place. The cottage was one of the nicest ABB places I have ever stayed. Plus sitting outside with the view and animals was just what I wanted after long days with clients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
