Places to stay in Ken Caryl

We really enjoyed our stay here with Kevin and family! The location is a great value and we really enjoyed being able to walk and see a lot of Boulder during our stay. I was able to setup and work remotely during the day - internet is fast and the space is quiet. As others have noted it is in a basement - so could be less than ideal for those who have trouble with stairs or would be bothered by hearing steps upstairs (though overall the place is very quiet!). Would recommend!

Jennifer’s guest house is extremely well designed and decorated. The place is extremely comfortable and looks like the pictures. The two hosts are very responsive as well.

Great place to stay in Golden! The space was beautiful and fully stocked, felt just like stepping into a home and being set up for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the evenings on the rooftop and walking into downtown. Would recommend!

Wonderful space in a great area for easy access to Tennyson St. Portia was a wonderful host, quick to respond and had an excellent list of local dining and beverage options printed as a local guide. Thoroughly enjoyed the space, aesthetics and location and would stay again.

Chandler’s place was amazing for me, my husband, and our 1 year old. The location was great for walking around, getting food/coffee, and day trips. The place was large, clean, and very inviting. It had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our week stay at this home in Old Town Arvada! It was walking distance to Old Town with lots of restaurants (dog friendly patios and a brewery too). The home was exactly as described and had everything we needed, including coffee and tea pods. The backyard was wonderful for our two goldens to run around, and having the back door to the yard right off from the master bedroom was a dream! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling through the area.

The location was perfect—easy walking distance to everything we needed. The place matched the description exactly, was clean, and had all the essentials. Check-in was smooth, and the instructions to get in were very detailed. Would definitely stay again!

They say in real estate that “the only” thing that matters is “location, location, location.” Alicia’s place fits that bill! Located on a dead end street (for motor vehicles) and on a creek…Alicia’s place was darling. A basement apartment, this place is small, but has the basics! Small coffee area (includes small fridge, microwave) and has a bathroom sink outside the bathrrom (next to washer/dryer). As we were a party of two…it was nice to have the sink outside the bathroom - for easier “dual get-ready-time.” Good off street parking (safe)… We didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the outdoor “hang-out area” but it looked lovely. I think this place is ideal for one to two people looking to explore the area (walkable to Old Arvada, wih good access to train to Denver and not interested in kitchen/cooking…but a nice place to sleep while visiting). As a basement place, we didn’t hear much “walking around noise” upstairs, either. The hosts were sweet!
