The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

There are no hidden extra payments, the nightly fee is total. Self catering cottage, originally built in the 1800's, restored and extended to provide a high standard of accommodation. Set in private gardens which extend to 23 acres and with outstanding views across the Usk valley. The garden area provides 2 large decked viewpoints, Private parking. The property has retained its original stone spiral staircase which might prove difficult for guests with mobility issues or the very young.

Relaxing stylish studio located on the mountain with picturesque walks on your doorstep. The Studio is attached to our smallholding however you have your own entrance along with private parking and garden. Please note this is part of our home so ideal for relaxing, walkers/cyclists or couples who want to relax but not to party, loud music etc, and therefore our quiet hours are 11pm- 6am. A most unusual stay at a beautiful Arts & Crafts Manor House in the process of being restored. This incredible home was unlived in for 30 years but now it’s being brought back to life. It sits in 27 acres of nature right on the river with some of the most dramatic scenery of the Wye Valley on the grounds. The traditional wood fired hot tub is probably one of the best located hot tubs in the country, overlooking the Wye Valley from the top of the cliff.

Lovingly restored only using stone and wood from the original structure and outbuildings including ancient farming machinery found in the grounds. The barn is steeped in history yet has all modern creature comforts including fully equipped kitchen, great sized living space and 2 Ensuite bedrooms. One being a twin and the other a double.
