Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

Eldhuset er ei koseleg, lita hytte som eignar seg best til par, eventuelt med små barn. Den har eigen uteplass med skjerma terrasse på den eine sida og ein liten plen på den andre sida. Frå hytta ser ein fjell og fjord gjennom eit gardstun med driftsbygningar, men ein treng ikkje gå så langt for å å all den utsikta ein kan ynskje seg! Ord som skildrar Urnes Gard og staden godt: ro og fred, naturoppleving, fjord og fjell, historie, tradisjon, stillhet, tid saman.

Moderne leiligheit på Kaupanger

Velkommen til ny og moderne leilighet på Kaupanger. Her kan du oppleve noe av det beste naturen har å by på med mulighet for fine fjellturer og koselige turer ved fjorden. Det er ca. 15-20 min gåtur til matbutikk, Vitemeir senter, fotball- og frisbeegolfbane. Ca. 10 km til Sogndal sentrum der man har flere restauranter, shoppingsenter, kulturhus med mer. Hodlekve og Heggmyrane skisenter ligger en biltur på ca. 25 minutter unna leiligheten.

Like utenfor døren finner man populære tur og sykkelstier. 6 min kjøring til Sogndal sentrum, 4 min unna ligger Kaupanger sentrum med dagligvare og ViteMeir senteret, kjekt for store og små! 2 min unna finner man baseng, lekeland og treningssenter.

We stayed for one night at Natalie’s place as 3 adults during our roadtrip in Norway. We felt like home at Natalie’s apartment and we fell in love with the neighborhood and its stunning views. Natalie is a great host and she was very communicative and friendly throughout the rental duration. Strongly recommended!

Rune und Linda waren sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die besonders schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert haben. Wir waren für unsere Flitterwochen in der Unterkunft & haben sogar eine kleine Überraschung von ihnen bekommen. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, das man braucht, und hat eine ganz besondere Aussicht & Umgebung.

Staying at Otillie’s cabin was a HUGE splurge for us, but the minimalist cabin is well thought out, nicely designed, and beautifully sited with a SPECTACULAR view up the fjord—enjoyed from the kitchen/living area, bathroom, and MBR. Fabulous! Happily, the cabin is set uphill from town and away from the hordes which descend from the visiting cruise ships. One thing to note however, is that it’s a steep walk up to the cabin—not a problem for us, but could be for someone who doesn’t walk much. We didn’t do any real cooking, but the kitchen had the basics if we had chosen to. We had a wonderful stay at Otillie’s and would love to stay again in the future.

Flott opphold på en flott hytte! Stille og fredlige omgivelser. Veldig enkel og ryddig innsjekk og utsjekk. Kjempe god vert som svarte raskt og kom med all nødvendig info slik at ting gikk smurt!
