Covered porch with outdoor furniture. Bed linen and towels are not included. When snow, you have to park by the road and walk the last 50 meters up to the cabin. Parking by the cabin during summer.

The firehouse is a cozy, small cabin that is best suited for couples, possibly with small children. It has its own patio with a screened terrace on one side and a small lawn on the other side. Welcome to Klokkargarden - the quiet pearl in Aurland! The old part of the house was built 1947 and we are now the 4th and 5th generation living here. It has always been Marit’s favourite place and it is growing on Espen as well. The new part of the house where you find your flat was was finished 2018. The outdoor area is still "work in progress" - but lift your eyes and you can see the beauty of the Aurlandsfjord. The flat is well suited for 2-3 adults or 2 adults plus 2 young children.

A spacious outdoor deck is presented, featuring wooden flooring and a dining set with several chairs arranged around a table. A barbecue grill is positioned nearby, and the scenic mountains create a serene backdrop under a clear blue sky.

Welcome to new and modern apartment on Kaupanger. Here you can experience some of the best nature has to offer with the possibility of nice mountain hikes and cozy hikes by the fjord. There is about a 15-20 minute walk to grocery store, Vitemeir center, football and frisbee golf course. About 10 km to Sogndal city center where you have several restaurants, shopping center, cultural center and more. Hodlekve and Heggmyrane ski center is a drive of about 25 minutes away from the apartment.

The "Firehouse" was built in 2004 with all the modern qualities. There are heating cables on the floor, private terrace, a great wood-fired back oven and a growing area just outside. The house includes a bedroom and loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and biking trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal city center, 4 min away is Kaupanger city center with grocery store and ViteMeir center, nice for big and small! 2 min away you will find a basin, playland and gym.

Bathroom upgraded in 2024, incl. shower and washing machine. Storage room. Parking space for 1 car belongs to the apartment. There is no charger in the listing but Fast charging station for Elbil is on Kaupanger at Coop Extra and at Elkjøp / Bohus , see pictures.

Staying at Otillie’s cabin was a HUGE splurge for us, but the minimalist cabin is well thought out, nicely designed, and beautifully sited with a SPECTACULAR view up the fjord—enjoyed from the kitchen/living area, bathroom, and MBR. Fabulous! Happily, the cabin is set uphill from town and away from the hordes which descend from the visiting cruise ships. One thing to note however, is that it’s a steep walk up to the cabin—not a problem for us, but could be for someone who doesn’t walk much. We didn’t do any real cooking, but the kitchen had the basics if we had chosen to. We had a wonderful stay at Otillie’s and would love to stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return! The home was clean, and well equipped. We spent all of our evenings on the deck enjoying the fresh air and gorgeous view (there was even a heat lamp to keep us warm). The home was a short drive from many hiking and biking opportunities.

Great stay at a great cabin! Quiet and peaceful surroundings. Very simple and tidy check-in and check-out. Great host who responded quickly and came with all the necessary info so that things went smoothly!
