We had a wonderful stay in this house. A super nice ambiance, inside and out. I definitely want to come back. Perfect for having a nice time with friends or family. Thank you so much for everything!

We had a wonderful time in this accommodation. The house and furnishings were in very good and well maintained condition. The only downside, the house has no heating (yet) and the pool is also not heated. As soon as the temperatures drop, it was also very cool in the house. We were impressed by the magnificent private location and it was a good starting point to explore Istria. In the small supermarket in the village, there are all the basics to get. The contact with Karmen was very pleasant.

Our vacation in this house was just great. The house is very nice and decorated with a lot of love. The pool is great and is cleaned daily. The terraces offer plenty of space and are all great. The house is exactly as described. All things, such as soap, sponges, oil and much more are new. It all looked like no one had ever been there. Everything was very clean and you feel right at home. Just beautiful. The area is quiet, but you can get everywhere quickly by car. In the village there is a small stand that always has fresh fruit and vegetables. It's worth supporting. But the best part is the landlords. The two take care of everything. They are always ready to give tips and you are also provided with treats in between. They're both super nice. Overall, I highly recommend this place. That was certainly not our last time.

Wonderful house and great host. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings and well worth the price. You have direct access to fresh herbs, homemade wine, rakia, jam, and eggs by the host. Perfect for a quiet time away from traffic noise and light pollution. Walking distance to several nice hiking locations. Would love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a quiet and private accommodation where you can just relax, without noise and very secluded. We found exactly what we were looking for! The surrounding fields and country roads were very beautiful and quiet. The bathroom was clean, the house itself was rather dark, but also clean. The host responded extremely quickly to all messages. The instructions to get to the house and check in were awesome, everything was very well explained! Thank you so much for a lovely stay, would love to stay again!

We have been coming here for the fifth year in a row in May and we already feel at home. Mrs. Mirjana, as always, is friendly and unobtrusive. She greeted us with a fruit crostata and homemade biscuit and everything was impeccably clean and tidy. Thanks for everything, and see you next year❣️

Great apartment in Hum, everything was clean and nicely decorated. Private terrace was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Franko was very welcoming and we even tried his rakija, he makes it on his own. Recommended!

Beautiful house with modern amenities. Everything was spotless. And there was air conditioning in every room.

The house is very spacious and offers really enough space for several people. The place is manageable (but everything is there for daily needs) and therefore there is also the possibility to get into conversation with locals. A car is a must on site. A pool would be the icing on the cake, but then you would miss the many beautiful bays. The host has thought everything through well and responds or writes proactively. Thanks for the wonderful time!

This house is a little paradise. It is friendly, it made us feel directly “at home”. The view from the garden towards the sea is spectaculair. We stayed with two little kids who loved to play in the garden. It is a very beautiful house with a safe (surrounded) beautiful garden in a quiet small village. The house is well equiped with a dish washer and everything you need. Nice detail is that there is no tv, but plenty of more rewarding activities such as making a fire in the fire place, bbq’ing, chilling in the hammock, playing the guitar, Reading a book: Nejc is a very kind host. We definitely recommend this place.

Lovely small apartment and great location for exploring Istria, in the middle of the peninsula and just minutes from the motorway.

Marin’s place was very nice and clean, great peaceful location, beautiful villa with everything you need. Marin was nice and responsive. I recommend.

We had a great time at the holiday home, which was very pretty and in a good location. We particularly appreciated the many things available to help us make the most of our stay. The only small reserve would be the presence of mosquitoes, but fortunately, there was everything we needed to keep them away. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Villa Motovun is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. The house has been renovated with such care to detail, it has kept the traditional character but is completely modernised with all amenities you would need. We loved the colour schemes, the materials used. It was so comfortable, with many seating areas, very comfortable, large beds (super important!), every room with en-suite bathroom. The views from the terrace of the Mirna valley and Groznjan in the distance are stunning. We loved having the little heated pool, the sauna and the pool table. The local wine ‘mini bar’ was also nice and we could help ourselves to a bottle of local Malvasia or Teran. All in all a gem in a beautiful medieval hilltop town, walkable to some really good restaurants serving amongst other things, local homemade pasta with truffles, or wild asparagus in the spring. Thank you Zeljko for your hospitality. We hope to be back again soon.

My new happy place! The fact that this place is somewhat remote makes it even more perfect! It’s calming and peaceful and idyllic. The hosts are lovely and gave us a tour of the home and its history with some local recommendations and welcome drinks. Felt right at home in the beautiful decor and the beds were super comfy. The pool was great…clean and bigger than we were expecting. We loved every minute of our time here it’s the perfect place to relax and forget about your troubles. Nearest shop is roughly 6 mins by car. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again in fact we’re already planning our next visit!

Great location in the heart of Motovun. Lotte Is a helpful host. Of course you need to walk up to it, since Old Town has no cars, so best suited for light luggage. You will be in an ancient building with modern features. She referred us to resteraunt Mondo which we loved.

Very nice place to stay in a quiet environment. Beaches and excursion destinations such as Motovun, Grozjnan, Rovinj, ….. are easily accessible. Everything in the property is as described. (You should only point out the steep spiral staircase, as it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.) Beautiful garden. Useful wheels for excursions are also provided. Nataša is a very friendly and generous hostess, she is also always available.

Igor met us personally for the check-in and was very understanding with our late arrival, after our flight was delayed. The house is very well appointed and as described in the listing but what was more amazing, was the selection of local and fresh produce provided, together with a selection of beers and sodas from his own brewery, and a bottle of wine from the local ‘Tomaz’ vineyard. Staying at Igor’s place for 4-nights, we had a fantastic time, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the house and surrounding town of Motovun, together with heading out to locally explore the beautiful surroundings of Istria. The recommendations given for local restaurants and butcher was were excellent and left us feeling very satisfied. His house has everything needed to have a great stay, including a well appointed and equipped garden, including a pizza oven and ‘The Bastard’ egg style BBQ, which cooked our T-bone to perfection 👌 Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon 🙏

The accommodation was as described. It's all pretty new and well-maintained. Hot tub and pool were clean upon arrival. The slope for the driveway is a bit steep and therefore rather unsuitable for the disabled. During our visit, the area was still undeveloped and hardly inhabited. The small village is very quiet, rather secluded and unobtrusive. The nearest shop can be reached in 10 minutes by car and the coastal towns (Porec, Umag, ...) in about 35 minutes.

It is a very nice and large place to stay in the middle of the mainland of Istria. The house is very private and undisturbed, neighbors were hardly noticeable. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the pool was always clean and was even cleaned during the stay. Large TV and dining table allow game and movie evenings. We look forward to our next stay.
