House vacation rentals in Karojba

Best house I’ve ever stayed at, fantastic. We were a large group of 17 people (5 kids) which came together from different countries and cities to chill and have fun. House offered everything it described, unbelievable architecture, great amenities, very cozy and clean, easy to reach. Large kitchen, comfortable furniture, fantastic patio, workable grill. Surrounding is decent (dry dock for speedboats and yachts next to the house), but still very calm (if you don’t count the local chickens and dogs which are providing the natural environment). The doors and windows are, however, brilliantly insulated so basically you will hardly hear anything when in one of the rooms. Till was a great host, always responsive and helpful in all aspects! Gave us recommendations, helped us prepare everything upfront, kudos. We definitely hope to return to Stara Škola for another great experience.

We stayed here for one week with our 3 kids. The place is beautiful, very quiet yet close to Koper, a animated city (about 10 min by car). It's a good spot to start a trip to one of several beaches (20-30 min), famous caves (30-40 min) or Ljubljana (1h drive) or even hiking in the Triglav area (2h drive). The house itself is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. The kids especially loved the big pool which they could access whenever they wanted. Andreja is very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of great Tips. Thank you very much!

Es handelt sich hier um eine kleine Oase. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ferienhäusschen mit Aussenbereich ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, enorm sauber und bietet mehr als die nötige Ausstattung. Sehr empfehlenswert - gerne wieder 😁🇭🇷❤️.

Unser Urlaub in diesem Haus war einfach klasse. Das Haus ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Der Pool ist toll und wird täglich gereinigt. Die Terrassen bieten viel Platz und sind alle prima. Das Haus ist genauso, wie es beschrieben wird. Sämtliche Dinge, wie Seife, Schwämme, Öl und noch vieles mehr sind neu. Es sah alles so aus, als wäre noch nie jemand da gewesen.Allea sehr sauber und man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Einfach nur schön. Die Gegend ist ruhig, aber mit dem Auto kommt man schnell überall hin. Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen Stand, der immer frisches Obst und Gemüse da hat. Es lohnt sich, diesen zu unterstützen. Aber der Knaller sind die Vermieter. Die beiden kümmern sich um alles. Sie sind immer bereit Tipps zu geben und man wird auch zwischendurch mit Leckereien versorgt. Die beiden sind super nett. Insgesamt kann ich diesen Ort einfach nur empfehlen. Das war sicher nicht unser letztes Mal.

Wir waren im Frühjahr 2025 da. Es war wie beschrieben, ein wunderschöner Garten. Sehr ruhig und abgeschieden, genau dass was wir wollten. Die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit hat uns vom alltagstress erholt. Gerne möchten wir wieder kommen, es war auch wenn das Wetter nicht 100%ig mitgespielt hat einfach erholsam. Wir haben den Kamin genutzt, den Grill und den Pool, alles war super. Die Liegen, der Esstisch, die Küche war einwandfrei! Unsere zwei kleinen Hunde fanden es grandios. Der Nachbar (Selbstversorger) hat uns herzlich willkommen geheißen, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles gute für die Gastgeber, sie machen alles richtig. Alles Liebe

We hebben hier een fantastische tijd beleefd en voelden ons meteen thuis. Super huisje en super lieve en behulpzame mensen die je meteen welkom doen voelen met een super fijne attentie bij aankomst en tijdens het verblijf. Deze accommodatie is zeker en vast een aanrader. Wij komen zeker en vast nog eens terug.

Ovdje tradicionalno već petu godinu u svibnju i već se osjećamo kao kod kuće. Gospođa Mirjana kao i uvijek susretljiva i nenametljiva. Dočekala nas je s voćnom krostatom i domaćom biskom i sve je bilo besprijekorno čisto i uredno. Hvala na svemu i vidimo se dogodine❣️

The house is amazing, the pool is great, especially with the indoor Jacuzzi, the kitchen is bright and beautiful, and very peaceful surroundings in the middle of nature. In walking distance, you find a local restaurant in a lovely 200 year old town - the smallest city in the world. Bring your supermarket purchase ride with you, then you can enjoy interrupted vacations. The host family is great, always helpful, always there if you need them for good advice. we felt very well treated and welcome. We had a wonderful time and we’ll definitely come back in the future. Great apartment in Hum, everything was clean and nicely decorated. Private terrace was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. Franko was very welcoming and we even tried his rakija, he makes it on his own. Recommended!

Wir hatten leider nur 5 Tage diese rundum perfekte Unterkunft gebucht und wären gerne länger geblieben. An diesem wunderschönen Ort kann man sich fallen lassen und das Leben genießen. Sonja ist sehr herzlich und hilft bei allen Anliegen auf sympathische Art und Weise. Am liebsten würden wir gleich unsere nächste Reise buchen.

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und bietet für mehrere Personen wirklich ausreichend Platz. Der Ort ist überschaubar (für die tägliche Versorgung ist aber alles da) und daher gibt es auch die Möglichkeit mit Einheimischen ins Gespräch zu kommen. Ein Auto ist ein Muss vor Ort. Ein Pool wäre noch das i-Tüpfelchen, aber dann würde man die vielen schönen Buchten verpassen. Die Gastgeberin hat alles gut durchdacht und reagiert bzw. schreibt proaktiv. This house is a little paradise. It is friendly, it made us feel directly “at home”. The view from the garden towards the sea is spectaculair. We stayed with two little kids who loved to play in the garden. It is a very beautiful house with a safe (surrounded) beautiful garden in a quiet small village. The house is well equiped with a dish washer and everything you need. Nice detail is that there is no tv, but plenty of more rewarding activities such as making a fire in the fire place, bbq’ing, chilling in the hammock, playing the guitar, Reading a book: Nejc is a very kind host. We definitely recommend this place.

Lovely small apartment and great location for exploring Istria, in the middle of the peninsula and just minutes from the motorway.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de vacances, qui était très jolie et bien située. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les nombreuses choses mises à disposition pour nous aider à profiter au mieux de notre séjour. La seule petite réserve serait la présence de moustiques, mais heureusement, il y avait tout le nécessaire pour les éloigner. Merci encore pour votre hospitalité !

Villa Motovun is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. The house has been renovated with such care to detail, it has kept the traditional character but is completely modernised with all amenities you would need. We loved the colour schemes, the materials used. It was so comfortable, with many seating areas, very comfortable, large beds (super important!), every room with en-suite bathroom. The views from the terrace of the Mirna valley and Groznjan in the distance are stunning. We loved having the little heated pool, the sauna and the pool table. The local wine ‘mini bar’ was also nice and we could help ourselves to a bottle of local Malvasia or Teran. All in all a gem in a beautiful medieval hilltop town, walkable to some really good restaurants serving amongst other things, local homemade pasta with truffles, or wild asparagus in the spring. Thank you Zeljko for your hospitality. We hope to be back again soon.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung. Strände und Ausflugsziele wie Motovun, Grozjnan, Rovinj, ….. sind gut erreichbar. In der Unterkunft ist alles wie beschrieben. ( man sollte nur noch extra auf die steile Wendeltreppe hinweisen, da sie für Leute mit Bewegungseinschränkungen ev. nicht geeignet ist) Schöner Garten. Auch brauchbare Räder für Ausflüge sind vorhanden. Nataša ist eine sehr freundliche und großzügige Gastgeberin, sie ist auch immer zu erreichen.

My new happy place! The fact that this place is somewhat remote makes it even more perfect! It’s calming and peaceful and idyllic. The hosts are lovely and gave us a tour of the home and its history with some local recommendations and welcome drinks. Felt right at home in the beautiful decor and the beds were super comfy. The pool was great…clean and bigger than we were expecting. We loved every minute of our time here it’s the perfect place to relax and forget about your troubles. Nearest shop is roughly 6 mins by car. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again in fact we’re already planning our next visit!

Alma ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Da wir bei Dunkelheit und sehr spät angereist sind und Alma uns nicht persönlich empfangen konnte, hatte sie alles für unsere Ankunft vorbereitet (Einfahrtstor geöffnet und Licht angemacht), so fühlten wir uns gleich willkommen. Es gab bereits vorab Fotos von der Einfahrt und Schlüsselsafe. Auch gab es sogar eine Überraschung zu meinem Geburtstag. Alma hat uns nach der Ankunft Links mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurantstipps geschickt. Sowohl das Haus als auch der Garten mit Whirlpool waren wie auf den Fotos, einfach zum wohlfühlen. Es gab Duschgel und Shampoo, reichlich Handtücher, Toilettenpapier und zusätzliche Bettwäsche. Im Kühlschrank waren sogar Getränke kaltgestellt. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Marina and her family’s place is a real gem. It’s essentially a 2 bed conversion within a small stone villa and it was perfect for our family - 2 adults, 2 kids, a dog. Marina’s family live next door and were so friendly, but left us to our own devices. The pool is great and the garden is totally secure. Fifteen mins from a large supermarket, twenty five mins from Porec…great location. We would definitely return!

Appartamento bellissimo molto moderno e con una cura degli spazi che ha soddisfatto a pieno il nostro soggiorno. Host disponibile, cordiale e reattivo. Consigliatissimo!!!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Saša und seine Familie sind sehr gastfreundlich. Andererseits haben sie uns sehr viel Privatsphäre gelassen. 👍🏻

motovunest un charmant village medieval. la maison est tres belle et la vue du troisieme etage ou se trouve le salon et la cuisine est splendide. on est vraiment dans l’istrie verte. attention cepe dant la montee du parking jusqu’a la maison est tres tres pentue et la ruelle est pa ee. c’est tres sportif surtout avec une valise de 20kg! mais on esr recompense a l’arrivee. la chambre est spacieuse, le lit est top et la salle de bains tres avreable. il y a a solument tout ce qu’il faut. gel douche shpooing trousse de secours serviettes, mais aussi tout le necessaire dans la cuisine y compri une cafetiere italienne. nous sommes allees deguster des pâtes fraiches a la truffe dans le village avec vue sur la vallee, delicieux. la ville de rovi j en bord de mer est tres agreable, ai si que poreč .

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Es ist alles ziemlich neu und gut erhalten. Whirlpool und Pool waren bei der Ankuft sauber. Der Hang für die Einfahrt ist etwas steil und deshalb für gehbehinderte eher ungeeignet. Bei unserem Besuch war die Gegend noch unbebaut und kaum bewohnt. Das kleine Örtchen ist sehr ruhig, eher abgelegen und unauffällig. Das nächste Geschäft ist in 10min mit dem Auto erreichbar und die Küstenstädte (Porec, Umag, ...) in ca. 35min.
