Monthly Rentals in Kamehame Ridge

Krista’s place looked good in photos, but I had one concern. I’m not a fan of pull-out beds; they’re usually uncomfortable with thin mattresses. But I read a review saying the bed was comfortable so I gave it a try. And I’m glad I did. The bed was solid and comfortable. The room was clean, quiet and private. It had everything you would need. Fine for one person. Maybe a bit tight for two, unless you were newlyweds. All in all, a great place in a nice, convenient location, near beaches, restaurants, Costco, supermarket. Would stay again.

Our stay was fantastic! The property is nestled right up against the lush Hawaiian mountains, creating a truly beautiful and very immersive experience. The home had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. We will certainly miss those cool afternoon breezes. The pool was fantastic, very clean and such a joy to relax in. What really made our stay special, though, were the hosts—they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We felt so well taken care of and would highly recommend this location. Thanks again Hosts!

Staying at Neal’s place was absolutely amazing! Both Neal and Kristin were incredibly kind and friendly, and gave great recommendations for things to do. The space was clean, and the outdoor spaces were beautiful. If staying here I would keep in mind that you are in very close quarters with the family (sharing the washer and dryer as well as some outdoor spaces). This allowed for access to some great amenities, and is a plus for making connections and getting local recommendations. I would not suggest this for someone who needs complete privacy and does not want to be around kids/dogs (we personally loved this aspect of our stay but know it is not for everyone). Kei and her husband, Lance, are full of aloha! I enjoyed getting to know them through our brief conversations (when we were coming and going in the driveway, etc.). They both really seemed to care that I enjoyed my stay, and they gave me a lot of privacy. Both were very responsive to any request that I made. I recommend that guests accept their offer to do a load of laundry for $5 - not only is it a great deal, my clothes never smelled better! The TV had more channels than I knew what to do with, although getting outside to enjoy nature was more important to me. In the mornings, I really enjoyed hearing the cheerful songs of the neighborhood birds. If you go down the hill and turn left (from either side of Aina Haina), there is a nice beach park at the foot of Pu'uikena Drive. I spent many hours there reading a book, watching the waves, and feeling the gentle breezes. There is also a very nice Foodland grocery store at the bottom of the hill, and IMO, it has the best poke. Try some!
