This was our first stay out of a few others in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing time. We, as a family of 5 stayed 2 nights at Lalin's place and it was a great start to our trip. Luxurio villa with greenery all around, not too far from city centre. Well spacious rooms and all available amenities at the kitchen made it a perfect stay. Cherry on the cake was the swimming pool which calls you to take a dip after a busy touristy dayout :-) Lalin and the caretaker was proactive, helped us with a flexible early check-in and also took care of our queries in advance. This property is a definite recommendation for anyone visiting Colombo. Thanks, Bithika

From the super cozy seating areas designed for ultimate relaxation to the countless books and cinema room filled with fascinating memorabilia, every corner of this house offers something to enjoy. The location is a dream – surrounded by lush trees, facing a serene lagoon, and complete with a private pool. The peaceful setting was the perfect backdrop for a much-needed disconnect. What truly made the experience exceptional were the hosts. They went above and beyond, ensuring every request was met without hesitation. Their warmth, friendliness, and the incredible food they prepared daily made us feel so welcome and cared for. The entire stay was breathtaking, from the scenery to the overall ambiance. Superbe logement. Propre. belles installations. Correspond a la description. Proche d'un supermarché et de restaurants. a 40 min du centre de Colombo. Proche de la route et d'une école hymne national le matin. wifi plutôt bon. L'hôte est très reactif et le gardien sur place très gentil. La salle de sport et la piscine est très agréable ainsi que la douche exterieure. Parfait pour notre séjour de 2 nuits en famille.

We booked 'A place' for a group of 6. The place was exactly as seen in pictures. 'Dilan' - the host was always available for questions. He gave us a good tour and encouraged to use all the amenities. The home caretaker 'Anusha' was on the property 24*7 and available to assist in the group activities and daily chores. We were also introduced to a local guide 'Champika' who virtually got everything done for us. Since, we didn't speak Singalese, Dilan and Champika made sure all our needs were taken care of. Over all: - Great place and Stay - Friendly and helpful Host - Excellent care taker and his availability - Very reliable and trustworthy people - No hidden charges or trying to squeez extra It was a wonderful experience over all. I highly recommend this place for a Professional meeting, Family or friends get together. Nice and Quite with access to the beach right there!! And most importantly - 'Friendly, trustworthy and reliabile' people for a stay in a foreign country!!!

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Тут обустроено уютное место с креслами и столом, идеально подходящее для утреннего кофе или неспешных бесед. Кроме того, двор стал для нас местом встреч с дикой природой — по деревьям регулярно снуют бурундуки, среди кустов можно заметить варанов. Вечера мы проводили под укровом террасы. А в центре двора расположен бассейн — идеальное место для отдыха в жаркие дни. Светлый и просторный холл с высоким потолком и вторым светом наполняет дом воздухом и естественным освещением. Кухня просторная и хорошо оснащёна. Здесь мы готовили привычные блюда, наслаждаясь домашним вкусом вдали от родины. Дом включает три спальни, каждая из которых оборудована кондиционером, создавая комфортную атмосферу для сна даже в самые жаркие дни. Рекомендуем каждому!

We arrived in Columbo Airport just before 3am, technically the day after our booking started. The host had been great in the lead-up, checking in regularly and reassuring us everything was sorted, and he even came to the airport to pick us up himself. The drive was relatively short but lively. Even at that hour, the streets were buzzing with people, bikes, tuk-tuks, and market stalls. It was a bit of an eye opener after a long flight. As we turned down dark, bumpy backroads, we were a little unsure, especially with a young child. Once we passed through the iron gate and saw the garden and pool, we still wasnt sold, but as soon as the front door opened, we relaxed. The house was spotless, spacious, and exactly as described. I woke early and opened the curtains to palm trees and the pool, a total contrast to the hustle outside. The host came by in the morning to clean the pool and arranged a tuk-tuk to take us shopping. Highly recommend hideaway right next to a buzzing local area.

Great place as described in the listing. We faced a long powercut (4hrs) right after we checked in. I believe it was a one time thing. Really like the way he approached the situation. Praba was proactive to inform about the alternatives he can provide. The amenities were of great help as we were in Colombo for a wedding reception

Mr. Kapila's home is spacious and lovely. My family had a wonderful stay. The caretaker was very helpful during the check in. The only downsides are that it's a bit hard for Pickme and Uber drivers to find as there is no landmark in the immediate vicinity and the lack of AC in the living/dining room.

This is my second time staying at Lahiru’s place. It was a very pleasant experience. Lahiru and his father were very warm and friendly, and had all amenities mentioned. The layout of the house is luxurious and very pleasant. The place has an attractive jogging path around the lake, and the tranquility that comes with it makes it a pleasant place to stay. If I had to describe the area in a few words, I would say “peaceful environment to live in”. I definitely hope to come back for a third time.

This is my first Airbnb experience. The stay was just AMAZING. We stayed at the property for 7 days in March and we loved the property so much that we extended another couple of days. The property was as described, beautiful and comfortable. Most importantly, I have to appreciate the host, Chathura. Chathura was responsive, quick, kind and proactive. We felt extremely comfortable and my family was very grateful. My relatives visited us throughout the stay and they all commended the property. Whenever we visit Sri Lanka, we now have a place to stay. Thank you Chathura for the well maintained property and for answering all my queries throughout the stay. Well done and keep it up!!!

This was our second time staying at Don’s beautiful home, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The house is very clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, truly a relaxing place to stay. Don is incredibly kind and accommodating, always making sure everything is just right. It’s clear he puts a lot of care into hosting. We really appreciate his hospitality and will definitely be back

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

We booked Andy’s property for a colleague visiting from overseas, and she had a wonderful stay. The home was safe, comfortable, and she absolutely loved it. Andy was incredibly helpful and responsive to anything we needed, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

This was our second stay at Mayurie’s place, and it truly feels like a second home for our family. The communication was friendly, and the stay was very comfortable. Highly recommended if you're visiting SriLanka for a holiday. It also offers easy access to High-Level Road and plenty of nearby restaurants.

A great place to stay if you're in Gampaha. The house is private, spacious, and clean. It has a TV with Netflix and is equipped with CCTV, which makes it feel very safe. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating—they fulfilled all my requests and even provided a printed map with recommended places to visit. That was really impressive!

In a nutshell, the whole layout of the house was beyond expectations and matched Australian standards. Everything was pristinely clean and the kitchen was fully equipped and even included an air fryer. Though we didn't cook during our six-week stay, as our friends and family supplied our meals, we appreciate the amenities. The beautiful garden and the peaceful and secure neighbourhood, made us feel safe as if we were in our own home. The owner's father who lived nearby was very helpful and approachable. Every little detail has been addressed and even the universal plugs and switchboard were thoughtfully provided for our own appliances. Another major attraction and a favourite was the washing and drying space provided on the rooftop, which gave us a good view of the surrounding area and the wildlife. Can be fully recommended to anyone who values a clean, peaceful and spacious home while travelling.

It was a peaceful and great stay at this place. Very helpful, including other members of her family. I will definetly recommend this to everyone who wants to stay near Gampha area.

Mr Samantha was a friendly and a supportive host for us. Also, his place was calm and quite and we had all the households we needed at our stay. I highly recommend his place for anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay.

Very happy about our stay here, the place is exactly how it’s described. We had the ability to enjoy peacefully and lovely Jayantha was always available if needed. Close distance to our relatives and generally a great spot to stay in - convenient and private at the same time. Would definitely book again if I came back!
