Very good stay, with family from 10 to 18 people to meals, and 10 to 15 for sleeping (including 8 children from 10 to 1 1/2 years. Very nice setting, view of the Pyrenees, large living room, convenient and well-equipped kitchen. Anne-Marie is very responsive to respond.

We had a great time in the family time in Christmas. Very nice house with very nice volumes, very bright, in three bedrooms and extra sleeping arrangements. A great location in Bearn and a terrace, garden, pool that we recommend even if we did not have the pleasure of trying them in winters; looking forward to coming back! Gorgeous setting for a great house. We were 3 families staying together and the house was perfect for our needs. Super comfortable beds in all the rooms, well-equipped kitchen with huge dining table to seat all 12 of us and plenty of different areas for adults/ kids to relax separately. Lots onsite to keep everyone entertained, including books, DVDs, games - the tennis court and large grounds were an absolutely bonus for all the children to roam around. The house manager was very helpful checking us in and with any queries we had before/ during our stay. Although the village itself is very quiet, we took several day trips out to Pau, Lourdes and even across the border to St Sebastian. You definitely need a car, but there is plenty to explore in the local area. As gorgeous as the view of the lake is, biting insects were rampant - if you are visiting in August, don't forget to take bug-spray!

Very welcoming and flexible hosts with a small welcome gift from the region much appreciated. Very clean family accommodation, in line with the photos, quiet environment with the gave 5 min on foot to cool off. Beautiful area to discover with sea and mountains within an hour's drive. We recommend it.

The place is wonderful to relax and unwind in nature. The house has everything needed and the deal with Bernadette was very good and was flexible. The only aspect is that we thought the meadow where the house is located could be accessed but it is closed because they have animals. We highly recommend it to enjoy the tranquility of nature, marvel at the mountain views and delight in the aromas of the forest.

We had a great time with friends in the mountains. The accommodation is beautiful, very well equipped, comfortable and practical. The view is exceptional... In short, we'll come back if we can!

We had a wonderful time. The house is superb and tastefully decorated. The view from the deck is beautiful. Lizzie and Jean-Pierre are very available and responsive hosts. The communication went very well and we appreciated the good places they shared with us. Even if Orthez is not a tourist hotspot it allowed us to shine in the region to the Basque coast.

We had a pleasant stay. We were a group of 9 friends and the house is really great for enjoying beautiful and friendly moments. The living room is spacious and open to a beautiful practical and very well equipped kitchen. The neighborhood is quiet and allows you to spend quiet and relaxing nights. Our group highly recommend this house and its guests. We will return in summer to fully enjoy the terrace and landscaped exteriors.

Liz and Dominic were incredibly helpful throughout our stay—truly lovely hosts. Their place is stunning, with breathtaking views and so much character. Although the pool wasn’t available at the time due to maintenance, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house is spacious and perfect for hosting a large group of friends or family. Even though Liz and Dominic live at the back of the house, we always felt like we had complete privacy—they were only around when we needed something. It really felt like a home away from home. We can only recommend their place !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Merete's beautiful home. Merete was a wonderful host who immediately made us feel comfortable. She went the 'extra mile' by searching for two of us when we were unable to get a taxi and helped negotiate when a member of our family was involved in a car accident. Merete was very supportive of all the family and understood the boisterousness of children. Thank you Merete.

They are two cottages separated just by a small patio. The kitchen is spacious and fabulously equipped with all kinds of tools and amenities. I don't miss anything. The bedrooms are comfortable and are decorated with pampering. The common spaces are very welcoming. The pool is perfect for children to play and even for adults to swim. The gardens and terraces offer various areas for meeting and chatting. In total, we were 15 people and we were all able to be loosely: together, in small groups and alone. Marc's place allows everything! It's even better than it looks in the pictures. In the village you can find everything you need: supermarket, bakery, shops... The comarca is wonderful (with beautiful walking walks from Marc's same house) and is an hour's drive from the incredible Atlantic beaches. We had a great week. It's 120% recommended.

We had a wonderful week at Michelle's place in August 2024. The hosts were responsive and helpful, and the app with info about the property was very useful. The facilities are excellent, with the pool and outside area being particular highlights, and the location is great, with several pretty villages and day trip options nearby, as well as various supermarkets.

We stayed for a week in this house which is even better than pictured. Close to Pau, with shops 5 minutes away but quiet. A recent house with everything you need to enjoy on site and an exceptional setting. We didn't know the area, but we'll be back with pleasure. Thanks Laurent!

15 days of quiet vacation. many activities nearby and returning to the accommodation with the pool to cool off is a great plus. Access to the vegetable garden with its vegetables and fruits is a real plus. The house is superb and well-equipped, whether it's the kitchen or the games available.
