Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

In this cozy and spacious apartment of more than 50 m², dating from around 1640, it is wonderful to stay. Thanks to the authentic, thick natural stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in the summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already waiting for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course: everyone is welcome with us. We are LGBTQI+-friendly and believe in a place where everyone feels free and at home!

Come and enjoy the calm of the Limousin countryside in a pleasant little studio house. The accommodation includes a kitchenette, shower room, room with a 140 bed and dining area. The small house is heated with a wood burning stove. Guests can relax on the terrace. The property has a large garden. The house is 12 km from the A20 highway and 30 minutes from Limoges. For two-wheeled travelers (bicycles, motorcycles) I have a barn to shelter them.

La Maison Benaise, our bicentennial farm, welcomes guests who are mainly looking for tranquility and nature (Natura 2000 site). Guests can enjoy beautiful walks in the hilly Charente landscape. Sports enthusiasts can practice mountain biking, canoeing, swimming in the river or lakes around us or simply relax with a book and a drink on the sunny terrace. For children, our four Shetland ponies are ready for a little hug.

The "Gite de l'atelier" is a typical Corrèze charming space furnished by an artist to make you feel calm, surrounded by beautiful objects in a natural setting in the heart of an old hamlet of sandstone and schist. My place is good for couples, families, and furry friends (dogs). Liberté Barn can accommodate up to 6 persons. It is a charming French character stone barn, very spacious, with a lot of the original features, plus a modern clean feel. The swimming pool is for guests exclusive use in your own private and securely fenced garden... IT IS NOT A SHARED POOL!
