Monthly Rentals in Julienne

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Everything went well, easy and self check-in. Everything was great.

Very warm welcome. The house was up to our expectations, very clean and very well-equipped. There was nothing missing. Very nice garden. It was perfect!

It’s a lovely house in a peaceful but central enough to walk to market, shops, cafes, restaurants. We got the bus to Angouleme, then TGV north. The living space was very well furnished, wooden dining table, not the usual squeaky glass top. Morning tea in the garden even in late March!
