The patio house

The patio house is the result of a dream. Located next to the pool in the courtyard of the main house, it consists of two rooms. In the beautiful entrance there is a huge dressing room. From there, you will access an open space in which you will find everything you need. A private terrace overlooking a leafy bank overlooking the river. The solarium with clothesline above the house, the patio, the pool and barbecue, eventually you will share them with me.

The cabin is beautifully located at the seafront with a huge terrace equipped with sun chairs, a table and lots of space to relax. The cabin has everything you need for cooking, washing and working. It’s the perfect place to wind down, swim in the ocean or go hiking. Only downside is the hiking trail right in front with some prying eyes by passing people ;) the bed and couch were a bit worn, but this is probably a question of taste. We highly recommend the place!

Probably the coolest host we've had. Helpful but not intrusive, easy to communicate with. The place was excellent, we basically had a private 2nd bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Good location as well, near a bus station. If we're ever near Girona again, we'll surely visit again.

The accommodation is as shown in the photos and the review: simple, clean, and ideal for a short stay . Plus, Matthias and his wife Sandra, picked me up at the airport for a very reasonable price, which was greatly appreciated given the late flight. Next to the bedroom is the private bathroom, which is very comfortable. I slept very comfortably, and although the room was hot, it's in a very quiet, residential area. The train station is a short walk away, about a 10-minute walk.

It was an excellent stay. Christine is the best host. It was like being at home. We would have liked to have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back.

The house was great for a large family party - spacious and well-equipped. Also tastefully decorated. Our grandchildren loved playing hide and seek throughout the house. The swimming pool was clean and well looked after. The water was still a bit cold in mid-April, but we used it every day. The house is a 15 minute walk to two local villages in either direction, and very peaceful with nice walks close by. There are good facilities for eating outdoors under cover, although we did not use them because we were out every day for lunch. Mirentxu was very quick to respond when we contacted her with a few questions.
