Chalet Salamandre

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter months there is a wood stove. The firewood is not included in the rental.

Roquefixade is a very picturesque village and the accomodation is excellent, with a spectacular outlook. There are lovely walks in the area. We especially enjoyed the chateau circuit and another loop walk to Les Demoiselles. Tom was a very friendly and helpful host.

Nicole and her husband were perfect hosts. The house was cozy and our kids loved the chickens and cows. We took the car and went to Lake Belcaire, to Fontestorbes, to Mirepoix, a charming medieval village. On the last day we did the path of the green maze that looked like it was taken from the Lord of the Rings.

Great stay at Jeremie's, functional and very comfortable apartment. Breathtaking environment, the view is splendid, even more beautiful than in the photos. We had the opportunity to meet Jeremie and his wife on a hike and we had a great time with great explanations about local life! Very friendly and accommodating couple! I highly recommend this accommodation in a peaceful corner of paradise 😊

A huge thank you to Annie for this warm welcome, which instantly made us feel at home, and well surrounded! With information, services spontaneously offered, etc., in short, a welcome of exemplary generosity and simplicity!! In addition, the house is exactly as advertised, so no (bad) surprises in this direction. The village is lovely, with a lot of activities offered in the area in the summer, and a remarkable calm at night, very appreciated. I recommend it a thousand times!! We will be back with great pleasure;)
