Family-friendly vacation rentals in Joshua Tree

Honestly, such a stunning beautiful place. It’s as beautiful as the pictures show it- if not more. Had all the amenities you need for a getaway, which makes a relaxing, romantic place to stay. Star gazing was breathless at night and the bathtub with the clear windows is something you HAVE to do at night! A hiking trail that is literally connected to the house, surrounded by beautiful nature, what’s there not to love. Host was also a good communicator with clear easy check out instructions! The only thing I can say is I’ll 100% be back, my only regret is not being able to find Duane Peters :(( so I’ll have to come back to find him in season!

Daniel was extremely flexible, friendly, and helpful in every way! The house was neat and clean, the air conditioning and heat worked well, my 12-year-old son was very happy with his bed and he is very picky! The kitchen was clean and colorful and I enjoyed cooking some small meals for myself and my son. I appreciated that Daniel had all of the necessities that you would need for the stay in the kitchen. Getting into and out of the house was easy and I felt safe in the house and in the area. I would recommend this home and the hosts to any of my family and friends!

This place provided much needed solace, community, and beauty when we needed it most. Nathan is a truly caring person and host. We are so grateful we were able to stay in this beautiful spot.

A wonderful place to stay in Joshua Tree. Perfect location for driving to the park and nearby restaurants etc. The guesthouse is very well curated, with interesting design pieces and home comforts. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality bathroom, kitchen amenities and the very comfortable bed. We loved playing a few records from the vinyl collection, and it was super easy to stream music from our phones etc. A very tranquil place to stay with great views. Highly recommended. What a perfect experience out in the desert. The property was private while still being very accessible and close to amenities. The space was perfectly designed and simple -- has everything you need to feel relaxed and present and content. The cedar tub was absolutely divine and a wonderful romantic getaway. Will undoubtedly come back anytime I'm headed out to the desert.

Our family of 10 (including little ones) had a wonderful time during our short stay. We loved the close proximity to the national park, large kitchen and bedrooms and the hot tub after a long day exploring and hiking! Jack was so quick to communicate with us regarding any questions or needs and highly receptive to feedback for minor things that needed tending to. Would definitely recommend to others!

Coreys dome house is the best styled Airbnb I have rented- its gorgeous with tasteful and interesting art & curiosities. It feels more like staying in a cool friends' home than a rental home. We took great use of the hot tub and well equipped kitchen and the very convenient entrance to Joshua Tree Park.

I can’t express how perfect our stay was. We were warmly greeted by Andreas upon arrival and felt welcomed and comfortable throughout. The house felt private and quiet but everything we needed was within 10min drive. The kids had a great time in the pool and we appreciated having a place that was well designed and furnished without feeling breakable. Highly recommend, we hope to stay again on our next trip down to JT!

Just awesome. Super friendly, super responsive, super helpful hosts. Great layout with a small 2bd/2bth house, a standalone 1bd/1bth studio (no kitchen), a huge patio, very large pool, in ground hot tub, grill. Lots of space, and location was great: less than 8min to downtown 29Palms and less than 10 to NorthGate of JoshuaTree park. Was a great spot and a reasonable price, but the hosts took it over the top. 5star, will return!

The holiday house is the perfect remote getaway. You'll find everything you need to make an amazing meal in the kitchen. You can get lost in the beautiful art all around the gardens and inside the house. The 360° views of the landscape are absolutely breathtaking and the night sky is otherworldly. This is by far my favorite stay out in the high desert.

Truly one of the best airbnb stays I have had. Brian’s unique desert home comfortably accommodated our multigenerational family, including our baby (14 months) and grandparents (late 70s). The open layout was really nice and allowed us all to sprawl out and move around easily while being together. Super peaceful surroundings and pretty quick access to Joshua Tree attractions. Will recommend this home to friends for sure!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Bianca & Clint’s. The home/outdoor space are beautiful and full of amenities. A convenient walk to the shops in JT, and just a few minutes drive to the park.

Words cannot describe how nice this B&B is. We have been to many B&B’s in our time, but Heike & Georg’s is by far the best we have stayed at. They bend over backwards to make your stay as pleasant as can be. We look forward to coming back again to stay here in the future. Thanks so much Heike and Georg.

My daughter and I stayed at Jeff and Brittney’s home for her very first road trip, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was absolutely stunning, with a scenic hike that starts right on the property and leads to a view we’ll never forget. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. From the curated decor to the individual A/C units in each room, every detail was designed for comfort and ease. We felt welcomed, relaxed, and completely at peace during our stay. Highly recommend - this place is a gem.

This space is beautiful and felt peaceful, relaxing and welcoming. We had everything we needed to make our time in Joshua tree a great get-away. Morning coffee while enjoying the visiting jack rabbit, and hummingbirds and an evening of listening to the coyotes or the silence of the desert was AMAZING! Super easy access to Joshua Tree Park, and Integratron Sound Bath, and other activities nearby.

The proximity to the park entrance was great. It enabled us to get in early enough for a sunrise hike. The property is on the corner of the main road so it is does get very busy when everyone’s leaving the park for the day. If you’re inside you don’t hear it. I found myself sitting outside multiple times enjoying the hammock chair and taking in the view across the street. Getting in/out of the driveway is a bit steep. So be aware if driving a low profile vehicle. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to cook. It was great having use of a grill. It was clean and they kept an extra tank on hand which we ended up needing. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the park.

Clean, quiet, and it looks exactly like the pictures. The dirt road to the house was easy to navigate and had no issues what so ever. Annalee was very responsive and her check in/ check out instructions was very clear. Would recommend this place especially if you are wanting to get away the hustle and bustle of city life.
