Blocks away from the heart of Idyllwild, yet surrounded by trees and wildlife, this secluded gem is the perfect romantic or quiet getaway! Watch the jays and squirrels eat peanuts from the deck or nibble at seeds from the yard. This cabin was completely remodeled with a hand laid shower mosaic to the wooden beams made from trees grown and harvested directly from our property, and much more, you will see the love and craftsmanship that went into finishing this cabin. “Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself.

Manzanitas as our cabin is fondly called is a very unique and special place. The property is graced with a massive oak tree and sits high on boulders. There is generous local history with a seasonal stream and rock facing covered in Native American'Mitate' - holes used to grind acorns into flour. Take time to relax and unwind in this peaceful space - sit by the large rock fireplace, walk a short distance to town and grab a craft beer, or take a beautiful hike at one of our famed trails.
