Vacation in the "dream" house

Enjoy the special flair of a 200-year-old, thatched farmhouse, one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses in the village. You are welcomed by a former stable, now a hall-like hall with a special atmosphere: Here you will find the small, stylish apartment, nestled in a beautiful natural ensemble. This house became famous in 1976 when the famous actress Elisabeth Flickenschildt wanted to realize her dream as a farmer in the countryside here, but died in 1977.

The cozy country house apartment is freshly renovated. With attention to detail, a cozy retreat for travelers in the Altes Land was created. New real wood parquet and Italian floor tiles meet the historic beams of the farmhouse here. The farm has direct access to a beautiful country road along the orchards. Especially in the flowering season, it is ideal for extensive cycling tours along the fruit trees. The nearby Elbe also creates a maritime flair.

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). This newly furnished spacious apartment (2022) is located in an old school built in 1888. The apartment with approx. 78 m² has an open living and dining area including a large sofa bed and two separate bedrooms. The location is perfect as a starting point for great bike rides through the Alte Land or day trips to Hamburg. The huge garden invites you to pick apples and relax. Parking and storage for bicycles are abundant.

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Alten Land, near the Lühe pier (about 15min walk over the dike). Stade, Finkenwerder, Buxtehude and Hamburg (45min.) are easily accessible by car. But also as a day trip by bike to explore well. You will love my accommodation because of the scenic location, the proximity to the water and the city of Hamburg. My accommodation is good for couples, solo travelers and business travelers
