My husband and I enjoyed staying at Amanda and Jared's on our way to Chicago! The house is charming, clean and comfortable. It's one of many older homes along a tree-lined street, so we enjoyed the view while having dinner or coffee on the screened front porch. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and stocked with towels and sample-size toiletries, and we had as much access to the kitchen as we needed for water and coffee. Loved the decor, the plant-lined dining room windows, and seeing the chickens in their backyard coop. Amanda and Jared are pleasant. gracious, and easy-going hosts who keep a low profile in order to give guests some space and privacy. We would definitely stay at their home again.

Really enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay again if we are in the area. Everything was so clean and neat, and the host was always quick to reply to any questions I had. Due to the cold weather we didn't use the backyard much but I love the space and how private it felt. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay

Jolene is an amazing host! She and her father John were extremely helpful and supportive whenever I needed help with anything to help make my stay more comfortable. She was very clear and up front about everything in regards to the amenities included and the property itself. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable, private bathroom was nice as well. Everything is still a work in progress, but I was very happy and comfortable overall! I recommend it to anyone who is looking to save money and who are okay with what it offers! I would stay again :)
