Monthly Rentals in Jelovica

The accommodation is a "5-star⭐️", that was our son's first reaction when he arrived. The beautiful little cottage is a peaceful little "home sweet home" next to an old mill that Tomaz also plans to renovate. We were treated to small fresh eggs from their hens and a lovely local wine. Beautiful touches, excellent communication with the host whose naturalness and joy of sharing is felt. The little river and the riverbanks as well as the small colorful hives, this place is just extraordinary. It is the image of Slovenia, this little green paradise and its authentic inhabitants. We will come back for sure and we recommend the place and the host a thousand times.

Very clean (absolutely no dust anywhere) great location, spacious, stunning views, private and very quiet. Very sweet hosts who clearly enjoy running their Airbnb apartment above their house. Lovely outdoor kitchen which was very tidy. A couple of things to note, when driving to the apartment Google Maps takes you down a road that's closed and full of JCBs etc. so a word of warning to go round the town and in from the other side would have been good. The decor is quite old fashioned (this is in no way a negative, it's just more so than appears on photos) with lots of china dolls through the apartment. It adds character and is very Slovenian and authentic. Again no massive issue but slightly unexpected. You get used to them watching you sleep after a while. Overall tho it's a great apartment and we'd really recommend anyone to stay here.

We stayed for 5 days at David's place while hiking and exploring Slovenia. David's place is all we were looking for, it's really peaceful and somewhat remote and the views are stunning. The apartment had everything we needed and David was really proactive and gave us great recommendations. David went above and beyond to help us with our queries, we truly appreciate that! We will definitely stay at his place again next time we visit Slovenia :)

We spent 4 days at Zele's cabin in the woods. In the heart of nature, surrounded by the sound of birdsong and a nearby stream, the setting was absolutely idyllic&peaceful.The cabin isn’t a luxury accommodation, but it is fully equipped with everything you need for a quiet, nature-connected stay.Our children loved playing "Indians" in the forest, collecting firewood for the campfire. The 200 meter walk from the parking area to the cabin didn’t bother us at all, contrary, it made the experience feel even more secluded and special.The lack of phone signal was also a welcome change, allowing us to disconnect and immerse ourselves in the environment. The location was ideal for our day trips and hikes. Zele is a fantastic host:communication was friendly throughout our stay.He guided us to the cabin and provided us with helpful information. And the cherry on top:his wife prepared a delicious chicken soup for us upon arrival- the perfect way to end a long, tiring car journey. We recommend it!
