Family-friendly vacation rentals in Jekyll Island

My family has been visiting SSI for over 25 years and this is by far our favorite place we have stayed! Justin and Ashley were incredibly responsive, helpful, and hospitable during our stay. We were especially appreciative of our surprise early check-in (!!) And the generous use of beach towels and other amenities. They truly thought of everything. Including sound machines in every room, which we genuinely appreciated since we had a toddler and baby. 5 stars and can’t wait to come back!

Accommodations exceeded expectations and location could not be more beautiful and close to conference center, restaurants, and Beach! Would Definitely Book again here!!!!

Linda's place was perfect for our family, and felt pretty spacious. We stayed in the smaller unit, attached to the main home occupied by the family we traveled with. The walk to the beach is extremely short, allowing us to take restroom breaks and grab snacks as needed. I also enjoyed being able to walk to some fun restaurants and shops. This was our first trip to St. Simons Island, and now we hope to come back regularly.

We just finished a 3 week stay at Cynthia’s place and we were so sad to leave! The location and condo complex are perfect. The pools are clean, one is super quiet and one is appropriate for kids, both are great. It is an easy walk into town, also close to the beach. The unit is so comfortable, 2 great bedrooms and bathrooms, very comfortable couch and chairs for relaxing in the living room. I cooked dinners during the week and had everything I needed. We walked to restaurants on the weekends. This is a 5 star property for sure, thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful and comfortable house and back yard. The house layout is roomy and easy for older people to get around. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking.

Great Condo! Well stocked if you plan on eating in. Also had some beach and pool supplies like noodles, chairs and a cooler. Very good location and easy walk to the village and pier. Just a short 5 min drive to East beach. I loved how family friendly the community is and plan on making it back soon. Thanks for the memories, we had a blast!

Robin's place was the perfect place for four couples to get away and enjoy a relaxing weekend and a big Georgia win! With four bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom, Robin's Nest afforded comfortable, private accommodations for each couple, as well as large, comfortable living spaces which made gathering together that much more enjoyable. And the game room with a pool table was a great bonus! We would definitely stay at Robin's Nest again. (BTW, lovers of bourbon and the bluegrass state will enjoy all of the Kentucky memorabilia displayed throughout the house.)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Georgia on my Mind. The town house was beautiful, plenty of room, all the amenities-we couldn’t have picked a nicer place to stay! Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Beds were extra comfy and the sheets and bedding were luxurious. When I had a question or two, Katie responded quickly. We’d definitely like to stay here again sometime! Enjoyed the beach and the pool and the surrounding area was quiet. Great for a family vacation. Close to the downtown and super close to the beautiful & clean beach.

It was a great stay, especially for 2 families. It has a nice outside sitting area which we used a lot. Short walk to the beach and walkable distance for dinner. It’s in a nice, safe area. Easy check in with code access.

Very nice place! We will definitely be coming back! David was great at accommodating us with an early check-in. The place was extremely clean and the bed is super comfy!! 👌 It's very close to The Village area down by the water as well!!

Spacious and comfortable - had everything we needed for a week long stay. Beautiful and thoughtful touches everywhere. Beachy and chill vibe. Excellent location - we were able to easily walk to beaches, restaurants, and shops. We loved the brewery just a block away. Peaceful and quiet at night - best sleep we’ve gotten in a long time. We will absolutely be back to St. Simon’s and hope to stay at Kyle’s place again.

David's instructions were very clear and accurate and we didn't have any problem finding the house or checking.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bart’s place! Four of us stayed here near Christmas, and we couldn’t have felt more at home. The place was spacious, clean, well-decorated, and centrally located on the island. Bart was extremely helpful providing clear instructions and making sure we had everything we needed. I would gladly stay here again!

Don and Marcia's place was cute, comfortable and clean. It was very conveniently located on the island and it was an easy walk to the beach. The provided bikes were really helpful. The hosts were proactive and made everything really easy and pleasant.

Cynthia was an amazing host! My fiancé, mother-in-law, and I drove from Michigan and booked our Airbnb last minute when we arrived on the island. Cynthia was incredibly helpful, responding quickly to all my questions. The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit St. Simon’s!

From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, this place was great! The cottage is beach theme which we loved and adorable. It fit our family of 5 just fine. We were within walking distance to the beach which was a huge plus. We loved the pool-it’s definitely worth paying to heat it up. Our experience with Ryan was great. He responded to any questions we had fairly quickly. Overall, we loved the cottage and have already talked about using this same place for our upcoming visit back to SSI in the summer time. Thank you to the host for making this a memorable spot for my family.

Host was extremely responsive and great. The pictures actually don’t do the home justice. The home was very spacious, private and conveniently located to the beach and local restaurants. All in all the home exceeded expectations by a mile!

Recommend for a family or close friends. Upstairs layout is a bit strange as the only bathroom upstairs is a Jack & Jill so the 4th bedroom has to use either that one or the en-suite off the master downstairs. Either way it’s through a bedroom.

Lovely and cozy cottage with a private patio which we enjoyed alot. Only slept in the master bedroom which had a comfortable bed. All furniture and appliances in good and working condition. The master shower is to die for!! The kitchen is very well stocked . We enjoyed walking the older established neighborhood every morning and some evenings. The grill area was impressive but not clean enough for me. You can hear the people upstairs but depend on who was up there, some were louder than others. I would definitely stay at this cottage again!!

The location is so small town and charming! We didn’t have to go far to find an eclectic shop or unique dining spot. The home is so lovely and comfortable. While it’s obviously an older home, there is a modern kitchen and all of the amenities of home (touchscreen AC control, gas stove, comfortable furniture, etc.). We were easily able to make and have dinner for 8 people and 3 dogs each night of our stay. There was plenty of space and it was well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen appliances, dishes - really anything we needed. Our beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were clean and mirrored the charm of the plantation style architecture. We enjoyed the courtyard and sitting on the porch swing. We really were able to walk where we needed to go each day. The neighborhood is quiet and has multiple town squares to explore. The host is very responsive, professional and friendly in their correspondence. Definitely recommend this place!

We had a great stay in St Simon’s. The house is close the village and easy to walk to the beach. Our kids had a great time in the pool and the house is very spacious.
