Family-friendly vacation rentals in Georgia

The pictures do not do this place justice. This is by far the most well stocked Airbnb I have ever rented. Brenda really has thought of everything. The welcome basket made my friend’s birthday weekend extra special too. Don’t hesitate to book with Brenda.

Joni described Rooster Ridge cabin accurately, so we knew exactly what to expect. The cabin is perched on a hillside and has a beautiful view of the surroundings. There are other homes nearby, but except for seeing their lights at night you’d never know they’re there. It’s fairly isolated, which came as no surprise and was one of the reasons we chose to stay there. It’s only about a 45-minute drive to Blue Ridge where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The cabin itself is quite comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. We definitely recommend Rooster Ridge if you’re looking for a true getaway. By the way, we didn’t use the hot tub, but I’m sure it would be a nice addition for those who decide to partake! The front porch alone was enough for us. Thanks, Joni!

Great lake house with great vibes and very homie feeling. Good cove and quiet on the lake. Had slight issue with hot tub but hopefully that gets sorted in the future. Overall will stay again and great value for money when it comes to lakehomes on lanier.

Margaret and Keith were absolutely amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We held our small wedding here and they had plenty of decor and helped put everything together. The house was clean and beautiful. There was tons of outdoor space to host our friends and family. They supplied plenty of water toys and life jackets. Margaret and Keith truly made us feel like family. Hands down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend booking!

Lynette’s place was such a peaceful stay. We had a family emergency that caused a major delay in our trip, so we ended up only being there overnight. Lynette was quick in responding and very kind. Would definitely stay again.

An unforgettable experience, everything was beautiful, waking up in the morning and seeing the deer around the cabin, the sunsets on the balcony, in short, our experience was magical, Amy was very attentive and explained everything in detail, no problems in the cabin, everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were very comfortable with everything ready, I definitely want to come back! A wonderful place for families and pets! Our kids had so much fun and were able to have their own spaces in the house. It was kept very nicely and Seth was a great host. Would absolutely recommend for families that wasn’t to feel secluded with close access to stores and local hikes.

Location was great, enjoyed the hot tub and peaceful surroundings. Laura was a great host, great communicator, and quickly responded to questions. Super close to great hiking, and Helen, GA was very nice!

Can't say enough about Dawn's listing. Dawn was super sweet and responsive. Everything we needed was provided. From snacks, water, bathroom necessities... to the most incredible bed I have slept in! the pillows and linens were an added bonus. a definite recommendation. Local restaurants and shopping near by..and hiking so close. The neighborhood was so quiet with beautiful landscaping by surrounding neighbors as we walked around after dinner. Such a beautiful cabin. I love it.

The cabin was truly "off the grid", as the road to the cabin could use a bit more gravel. However, our Corolla made it up and down with no issues even through some rainy days. The tires slipped a bit and we ended up at some interesting angles at certain points, but it was entertaining. Ensure you arrive with sunlight to help you locate the address. We arrived in the evening. Greg made sure he checked in with us to make sure we arrived with no challenges, which was nice! The area is private and quiet. You are literally in the woods. We didn't see any wildlife, but got spooked by the noises a few barred owls made near us. The firepit was a great addition. Kitchen and rooms were well stocked and clean. Linen and towels smelled fresh. I did end up hearing some buzzing every time I was in the upstairs bedroom and attributed it to the tons of bees in the area, but saw no evidence of anything scary inside lol. We truly did enjoyed our time and explored all over Blue Ridge!

The cabin is super cute, the porch with the creek is what really makes this place. We only stayed 2 nights but spent the last day basically on the porch for the last half of our stay and played Uno at the table! So peaceful with the creek right there. The power was out when we got there, and we didn't have cell service, so we had to walk up the lane to get service to ask about it, but Terry was responsive when we texted. Power came back on, and we were able to get on the wifi once it came back on. Note that the road to get in I would suggest you have a truck or a non-lower car, its bumpy and gravel. Makes for a fun in and out lol. Which that is part of having a place in the mountains. There are two cabins right there beside this one so if you want super private you may want to look someplace else- the neighbors we had left the next morning, so it was quite our last day there. I would stay again just because of the creek!

Bella Cottage was a great stay after a day of hiking and visiting wineries in Dahlonega. It was quiet and secluded. Rick’s instructions for finding the home were very clear and helpful. Only ~8 mins from downtown Dahlonega. It does smell like an older home, but very clean. Would recommend if you’re visiting Dahlonega!

I enjoyed my stay at ILV and it was the getaway I needed. The views were amazing. Johnny was really thorough with his instructions on how to get up the driveway. My SUV handled it well. The cabin was clean and well stocked, and Johnny left local recommendations. I would definitely visit again.

Adore staying at Paradise Gardens. Cute and comfortable space, great place to get away and enjoy Finster's art, including after hours access to the garden.

Visiting family in the area for a couple weeks. Stacey's place was perfect, clean, and had all the basics plus extras for an extended stay. Very thoughtfully furnished. Good internet and smart TV as well. Perfect stay...Highly recommended.

Wonderful accommodation! Gina was an amazing and responsive host. We will definitely be back. The check in was super easy and she accommodated our early check in request with no issues!

Everything was immaculate and we had a wonderful stay. The only negative we could come up with was the hot water was less than desired.

This house is the perfect place to relax and get away. Being on the lake is so peaceful! We appreciate the host being flexible with check in and check out times and making everything so easy. We’ll definitely be back!!

Happy to stay here again and bring the kiddos this time! We spent most of the time outside enjoying the peaceful surroundings, pool and hot tub. Great location- plenty of restaurant options and nearby grocery. No complaints and hope to stay again!

Great little getaway on a beautiful calm quiet lake. the house itself also has a lot more space that it appears to have in the description.

Ms. Carla was a great host she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her apartment is exactly as described it was so beautiful. The kids loved the movie theatre. We had to stay here as our home was under construction and it was our home away from home. She was an amazing host and I would come back. I can not express enough how thankful I am for Ms. Carla.

I would have to say, without a doubt, that this was the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The unit itself was amazing and as-advertised, but what really set it apart was the immense beauty of the back yard and pool area. Don’t bother buying a ticket to the Atlanta Botanical Garden—essentially an entire botanical garden is included with your stay!! My family came into town for a wedding on a Friday. We had all day Saturday free, and spent a big chunk of it just relaxing i the back yard by the pool. Dina was a great host! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great cottage! Excellent location to all the island had to offer. We were able to make great memories! Our daughter's first view of the ocean and our son's first since he was a toddler!! Thank you!
