Locally, you have access to some of the best fishing anywhere!! Regardless if you are fishing right off the dock or out w one of the local fishing charters. There are hiking trails, or airboats/pontoon boat charters to get you in touch w the beautiful wetlands & marshes to see the local wildlife. if you have your own boat, you can drop it into the water just a block away at the local marina & tie it up out back on the dock. New Orleans is about 45 minutes just north w it's food, music & culture.

Clementine's Room is a lovely hideaway in Mid City on Bayou St. John. It is simply a bedroom/bath with tile shower, washer/dryer, and king bed. The door is next to a gazebo for outdoor time and the desk can be arranged for 2 to dine inside. There is a large Roku tv for streaming shows, a mini-fridge, microwave, electric kettle & coffee funnel for making morning coffee or tea, and dishes & flatware for heating up a snack. Very easy on-boarding to any of the local Charter Fisherman as the property is located on the Inter-coastal Waterway. Advise your Charter Captain that you are staying right next to Frank's boat launch in Crown Point and they may pick up there. Lafitte, LA is home to some of the best fishing in South Louisiana. Great place to Relax at this peaceful cottage. Swamp Tours nearby (2 blocks away).
