This cottage is two blocks from St. Charles Ave., a major (family-friendly) parade route during Mardi Gras and main thoroughfare to get around the city. Conveniently steps away from many restaurants, bars, and a small grocery store. The St. Charles Ave. streetcar will take you to the French Quarter and to the uptown area where you can visit Loyola or Tulane Universities and the can't miss Audubon Park (and zoo). Cost is $1.25 to ride. From there, jump on a bus to get to the other areas of the city. Free street parking is available. Bike Share station close by. Location, location, location! The Faubourg Marigny is a neighborhood located adjacent to the French Quarter. Frenchmen Street, is the destination for some great music! Lined with music clubs, a couple of restaurants, cafe's, two night time art markets, a great book store, a bicycle shop and small grocery store, it is just a gateway to many attractions. Staying in this apartment gives you a huge balcony with a bird's eye view of the festivities below, people watching at it's finest.
